In terms of the business case, make sure you consider both the LOE and the ROI. OK?

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

A little advice to supe....Old habits die hard

Reg hasn't EVER been a fan of bartenders, especially those that have taken up the profession with no hopes of betting themselves (insert 30yr old hottie w/ 8th grade vocabulary here)

Now that I think about this response for a second....is there seriously anyone that has ever read LLPP that would ever take advice from superman57 about bartenders or just any advice in general?

Yea you guys are right but ya know what....?  Girls are a different breed.  I guess if she is in her 30s and has only been a bartender you might have some problems.  On the other hand, you never know.  I remember there was this girl I went to high school with.  She was the town bike, everyone had a ride.  Then, she gets to her mid 20s and grows up a little....and she is fantastic material.  No one remembers or cares what happens when you were younger.

That being said RT................never get married and keep all three.

You should write a book and title it that-

"What does it matter- why Carnies make better lovers"- by supermanish

Hopefully someone also dropped a deuce on the U at midfield.

'Brotherly' visit turns destructive

This story had LLPP written all over it:

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/baseball/al/whitesox/notes.htm

—C Toby Hall, who appeared to injure his shoulder while trying unsuccessfully to hit teammate Jermaine Dye in the face with a shaving-cream pie Monday, was notably absent from the starting lineup in a day game after a night game Wednesday, but the White Sox continued to downplay the injury, let alone the fact that Hall injured his troubled right shoulder. Hall, who had been wearing ice packs on his shoulder in recent days, was expected to start Wednesday, but manager Ozzie Guillen opted to go with A.J. Pierzynski. "It's all about winning," Guillen said of the decision. "We will pick a time to rest (Pierzynski) later on. Right now, I'm not going to say we're not going to win with Toby, but A.J. was ready to go, and that's why he's there." This is a situation to keep an eye on, with the club expected to call up a third catcher Sept. 1.

k+ for a friday "deuce" reference.

thetes was an infamous house at hobart as well.  tgp remembers going to a party at the old thetes as a freshman and having the lights go out and beer  (at least tgp hopes it was beer) poured on him (and pretty much everyone else there).

ah the good old days.

Update:

- candidate #1 (lush teacher) loves to say little barbs via text msg and play the whole "I was only kidding" routine. RT believes that's passive-aggressive and people today do that too much....RT hates the snotty comment followed up by "I was only kidding". RT feels that's horse-shizz...RT is tired of it and not sure the best way to handle
- candidate # 2 and RT hung out yesterday by the pool and had lunch. She is great to talk to (and looks phenominal in a bikini) and she has some potential. However, it's the classic story...hot teenage girl from rough zip code (Schenectady) goes to Catholic high school and starts making the scene due to her natural hotness. Hangs w/ bad boys who drive IROCs and treat her like crap. She goes to community college then drops out and moves to florida w/ her girlfriend and gets into the bartending scene. Moves back to NY and becomes further entrenched in bartending scene and dating dudes that own tanning salons and landscaping businesses (or as they like to call themselves, 'contractors'). She finishes college but doesnt really venture far from the bar gig. #2 and RT hit it off but lingering "guy friends" and ex's always seem to be lurking...especially via the late night drunk text or phone call to the cell. #2 claims that when in a relationship, she is totally focused and wants to meet the right guy and move on to the next phase of her life.
# 2  Pros:  - augmentation
                 - fun to chill, hang out with
                 - RT can be himself and she seems to blend into a crowd well

Cons:  - "best friend" is a guy (whom see was off and on with as a partner)
                   - career is tied to bar scene at the moment (con in RT's book)
                   - not sure how to put this except to say 'grew up fast'...good candidate to star in a Motley Crue
                   video

- candidate #3:   Business as usual...good convo, nothing rushed or wild. Going to meet next Tue at starbucks because she's out of town  this weekend w/ family. Good sign here - she says she has a bachelorette party this weekend but she's not looking forward to it and would rather be at a spa getting some treatment...lol
