Not to mention, the band whose name comes directly from the front man.

Mark Slaughter, Don Dokken and Kip Winger approve.

Classic, drummer wearing the sleeveless mesh shirt it pure late 70's early 80's turn of the decade fashion.

+1....fantastic.

Marky is more of a rapper than a vocalist anyway.

Oh my.  That was interesting.

What needs to be appreciated about that clip is that Mark can sing.  He had to work at sounding tone deaf and off key.

Dorchester, MA.....baby

To Supes, JT & KS,
The house that Ruth built closes down with a whimper......in all honesty, pretty sad.  U89 hopes that Fenway doesn't go out this way.

Wahlberg.  Since he's more an actor now than a rapper, he is Mark not Marky.

JT doesn't see how Fenway can go out, unless they make an exact replica with suites and 50K+ seats.  Problem with the Yanks is they waited far too long to go with the kids.  JT would have started the youth movement in 2002, not 2007.

If Fenway is ever about to go away, JT will do an entire w/e series before the wrecking ball hits.  Fenway is one of the great parks.  If it ever goes JT, will miss it.  The new Yankee Stadium will be great, but it will never be the same.  JT doesn't know if the ghosts will go across the street to the new park.

labart96

doubtful.

tgp thinks yanks stadium just can't be replicated ala the fens, wrigley, etc.

one of the all time greatest sports venues - whether you like the yanks or not - you can't deny the history.

dano wrote up a nice eulogy/trip down memory lane (yesterday) in the globe.

lot's of great and painful memories for sox fans, but no doubt one of the all time greatest parks.  ashamed and sad tgp never made it there.
