Apple Jack

A couple of thoughts and observations:
1) Why do tennis players always fall down after they win a match?
2) Does anyone else find that there is a strong resemblance between Jonathan Papelbon and Nuke Laloosh from bull durham esp when Nuke is giving the interview in the white 80's suite when he is in the "bigs"
3) Did anyone notice that all the homemade signs at the republican nat convention were all made by the same person?
4) Applejack Fantasy team looks to be NASTY!!!

Good luck to everyone this week and lets see how many monkey stomps the LL can pull off!!

Holy Cow.....
The Bronco's game isn't even at halftime yet.....U89 goes onto Yahoo to claim Eddie Royal who is completely tearing it up for the Broncos......and what does U89 find??

'Gro just popped in minutes ago and swiped away Mr. Royal......DAMN YOU 'GRO!!!

bwaaa haahahahaha!   Gro actually drafted Royal in his $$ league, but he was low on the FF depth chart (before last night) and I dropped him... so since there's little chance of getting him off waivers in that leage, I had to pick him up in LLPPFFL. Looks like he can be this years wes welker.

p.s. HAHAHAHAHA!!

JU could be this years Wes Welker if he played against the raiders every game........

JU, yeah it was the raiders, but I like the broncos playcalling.  When Marshall gets back he'll be the deep threat with Royal open underneath. I'm expecting lots of catches for the rookie.

Gro's $$ league upgraded to the plus league so that there could be sunday to tuesday waivers. adds a little more strategy to the game.

pbr has mcfadden going tonight will be interesting to see how he does...btw gro u mocked pbr when drafting desean jackson for the eagles the dood has got some serious wheels and put up nice numbers yesterday in his first game

tgp also has mcfad but benched him in favor of steve jackson (yuck), willie parker (yes!) and brandon jacobs (eh).

hey pbr - tgp's days as a cw employee are numbered.  should be signing a formal offer with BAS either today or tmw.

xcellent...glad to hear it...u staying in la la land or heading to charlotte?

la for now.

sweet...pbr is due for a trip out there in the not so distant future...your former coworker was in about a month ago and pbr's liver is still recovering. time to come out and go shred some waves in malibuuuuuuuuuuuuu....

JT

JT's Dirty Sanchez got the smack down in week 1 from Cougar Milk.  Spanked by 60.  A couple of CM's doods get very hot, while JT's were surprisingly cold.  Plus two of JT's bench guys did better than the starters.  Playing the bench guys would have pulled JT within 50.  Ouch!

JT and KS in week 2. A battle of 0-1's

HA! had to do it after back to school night (which pbr's friend had a good suggestion of parents should be allowed to bring a 6 pack to back to school night or a adult after keg party) so pbr was friend when back home and kid hits him w/ this problem....

A farmer is taking her eggs to the market in a cart, but she hits a
pothole, which knocks over all the containers of eggs.  Though she is
unhurt, every egg is broken.  So she goes to her insurance agent, who
asks her how many eggs she had.  She says she doesn't know, but she
remembers somethings from various ways she tried packing the eggs.

When she put the eggs in groups of two, three, four, five, and six
there was one egg left over, but when she put them in groups of seven
they ended up in complete groups with no eggs left over.

What can the farmer figure from this information about the number of
eggs she had?  Is there more than one answer?

PBR you must really have been fried last night.  The answer is 21, 3 groups of 7.

MIYH is a math teacher PBR.  The problem just wants you to know state that 2,3,4,5,6 aren't factors of whatever number you look at.  It has to be a multiple of 7, but not those other numbers.  So it can't be 21 (sorry KS).

There are multiple answers.  The first one is 301.  It's modular arithmetic, but that's nothing that MIYH learned in middle or high school.  How old is your kid?

you are correct miyh...kid is in 7th grade....KS what in the world were u thinkin!! LOL...come on my brotha your not even in the ball park pbr assumes you were kidding around. so factor in a tired kid after school all day and sports after school and pbr who was fried and try explaining that  if you take a number that leaves a remainder of 1 when you
divide by 2 and add 2 to that number, you get another number that
leaves a remainder of 1. So if you add any multiple of 2, you still
get a number that leaves a remainder of 1 when you divide by 2. same thing with 3....etc ....

EDIT: miyh correct it was 301 and other numbers higher w/ a factor of 7
