Great job on your show last evening.  What a bonus for us LL deranged fanatics.

Question I didn't get to listen to all of it.  What is the deal with the Boudreaus from WPI?  I think early you mentioned they were both injured.  Playing this week?

Matt (LB) is pretty much done for the season and is a de facto coach on the sidelines since he's had so much experience with his position at WPI.  Chris (DB) was injured in the preseason and is trying to rehab in time for the end of the season.  I don't believe you'll see him this weekend in the WPI-RPI game.

The archive of yesterday's "In the HuddLLe" is available at http://blogtalkradio.com/LLRecap for download or streaming.  If you want to subscribe to the Podcast, go to iTunes and choose "Subscribe to Podcast" in the "Advanced" menu and enter:  http://www.blogtalkradio.com/LLRecap/feed

We're aware of some of the volume issues during the show and we're working to resolve those for this Sunday -- so listen to the archive, enjoy the games this weekend and get ready for a whole new set of games Sunday night at 7:30pm (for 90 minutes) during our second show of "In the HuddLLe."

I mentioned this on the Division III Rivalries board, and haven't gotten a single response.  Maybe LLers will chime in.

RPI has not just one, but TWO opposing teams against which it has played over 100 games, Union and WPI, as chronicled by the sports historians at augenblick.org.

I wonder how many other teams have 100+ game series v. more than one other team.

In my experience, the Shot Glass Trophy game was a bigger deal than the Transit Trophy game.  What did you other Red Swarmers think?

That is a shame.. I feel bad for Matt as a SR who was LL Def player of the year...

FB is a cruel game sometimes.  Especially for Sr's who get hurt with their last chance to out on the pads.

Not Hobart that's for sure.  The Statesmen have played 100 games vs. Rochester, but the next closest rivals are:

Union - 91 games since 1896
St Larries - 80 games since 1901
Alfred - 78 games since 1899

That reminds me - has anyone thrown out a taunt this season for the general lack of Larries on the LL board?

Preliminary research indicates that RPI might be the only D-III team outside of the NESCAC, and the only college team outside of both NESCAC and the Ivy League, to have two 100+ game opponents.  Those Uppities have all been playing each other for a looong time.  So have Lehigh and Lafayette, but with something like 142 meetings, they've played more than once per season a bunch of times.

LD11, with his still swolen liver from Myrtle Beach, in his attempt to micro-manage his own wedding, decided to crack 2 bottles of wine tonight and fire through 6000 songs on his computer to leave no worries.  About half way through the music and 1.5 bottles later....I'm such a pathetic loser.

No, but we're all too sophomoric to be impressed with how well you spelled sophomoric.
