Again you put words in my mouth....I blame the staff for not making a defensive change THIS PAST Saturday when Rochester marched down the field....you choose to place blame again where it cannot be pinpointed....the secondary is pretty vague.  I have no vandetta against the staff, I actually have great respect for G-Man and a good deal of others....

Sorry if you see this as me insulting you again.....your inability to to ever place blame with your friend and hiring his relatives in the booth obviously call your objectivity into question.

TGP, I see you read BostonDirtDogs.com.  During the pennant race one of the best parts of my morning was reading their daily dispatches which alternated from "the Rays are a fluke and never had a chance" to "it's ok, all we need is the wild card, the Rays are for real" on a near-daily basis.  Funny site.

Jose I dont think any real baseball fan thinks the Rays are a fluke.  Maybe untill right before that little run they had after the allstar break, but why wouldnt you?  It has nothing to do with the Rays either, its a pretty common trend in baseball to see these underdog teams fire out of the gate in first place for a few months, only to get beaten down later in the season or the playoffs.

I think the Rays have proven themselves this year.

Lets see what vegas thinks...........

Please excuse Regulator early this afternoon at the lighting of the drinking lamp.  Reg has been putting in long hours and been an model employee and now needs to be rewarded with a weekend comprised of watching football and consuming mass quantities of ML's and Wings.

Sorry, I think my post was misunderstood.  I still think the Rays are a fluke (but all those years of watching losing baseball makes one skeptical of such things I suppose).  I just think that particular site is hilarious.  On the homepage they would have consecutive posts declaring the Rays phenomenon over and annointing the Rays as the next champs and declaring the Sox dead.

U89 and Frank go easy guys. I hope you guys are just debating and not getting personal. Both you guys are very knowledgeable and more importantly passionate. Last year and this year are proving to be very difficult for this football team. I think the blame should touch on almost every aspect of the program right now. I don't know if you guys are familiar with the Ned harkness era with hockey but this school can be absolutley "close down" when it comes to atheletics! It seems to me as if there is a whole lot of everything going on and the program is, in my mind, not what it used to be. That doesn't mean that it is not still strong and on a road to improvement. We shall see. It seems to me that this team is desperately searching for an identity and if it doesn't get consistent with tis personel on the field soon it will take that much longer. Just hang in fellas and go easy on each other. We are all rooting for the same team! Go U! I included this picture because the chick eating the samwhich does something for me!
