DC will be attending the RPI-Susquehanna tilt on Saturday at 86 Field. Who else will be there?

Gro, Reg, and LD are all in other area codes, your best bet would be RT. I think it's homecoming too.

Speaking of homecoming, back in the day Gro's HS was EVERY schools homecoming game.  Well now the Schenectady Patriots are 6-0 and the top ranked AA team in the section (#11 in the state!). Truly amazing turnaround.  Gro's alma matters are 10-0 and I probably just jinxed the hell out of both of them this weekend.

Dammit!! RPI handles Susquehanna but Schenectady HS gets caught looking ahead to the playoffs (#1 seed locked) and loses to Shaker (Shaker?... Shaker?).

Hey gro I think this may have (in a crazy way) been good for Schenectady to lose to Shaker this past Friday. I was very worried about the Pats because of their lack of experience. I think this loss brings them back down to reality and maybe lights that fire that they will need to push through seciton #2 playoffs. I really felt if they finished undefeated we might have seen a one and out in the playoffs. Let's hope this loss gives them all the incentive and focus they need.

Gro,
All may not be lost with Schenectady's loss.  XRed knows the Patriots beat a solid Newburgh Free Academy (sect 9) several weeks ago, who in turn hammered Shaker by 30 in week one.  XRed made a phone call to XDragon59 who teaches at Schenectady High and was informed they had some studs suspended for the game.  Word on the street is that TE and tailback are no joke, while the Qb is better than avg.
Taste It!

Because we obviously rule.  'nuff said.

Shaker High School is a  lower tier football program from the Capital Region of NY (Section 2).  Named for the Shakers ( a Christian sect that would shake violently and speak in tongues when they felt the hand of God) who were residents in the Colonie/Loudonville area.

Until this year Schenectady was basically the laughing stock of Section II football...

Not sure where you get the "lower tier" part -- Shaker, Shen and Saratoga are always battling about in the Upstate East region.
