Frank / RT

good in the HuddLLe last night.  The MMA coach.. he's a coach, you couldn't picture a guy like that selling insurance or something. Good interviews, Savasli handled the questions well.

Thanks, 'gro.  We really urge anyone who wasn't able to listen live to go to the archive at http://blogtalkradio.com/LLRecap -- This is one of those shows that really gave us more of an in-depth view of the type of quality individuals that are inside the game of Division III football, especially in our very own league, since we were able to interview them for longer than normal.

Granted, some of you might want to just listen to the part where Eren Savasli calls RT and me "old."  Perhaps our most classic moment in ITH history.  :)

MUST catch InTheHuddLLe live next week--between that Red Sox-Rays in-game update and the Top 25 Sneak Preview, there's plenty of value added to the live broadcast!

Oh great--this is how the E8 board keeps its total number of posts so high--by stealing from the Liberty League.

Is there anything in the Mackin Ho's manual on how to handle enlarged "berries" from trolling skanks in the Mistake on Lake?  Kellen Winslow needs some good advice.

PBR...

pbr's friends have checked in from tampa....and said tropicana field is a bigger dump than the vet was in philly. the turf is awful just like the old astro turf used and the stadium is awful. disappointing to hear plus add in the stupid white dome which makes it hard to find the ball add in all the stupid catwalks et al is ridiculous. it depends which catwalk you land in whether its a double or HR would hate for the series to come down to a call based on what catwalk you hit, especially the moon shots howard hits. amazing the difference in the the stadiums...anywho lets go phils!!!

Good time to review ground rules for El Troppo.

No ground rule doubles unless the ball stays in the catwalk.  If a batted ball strikes one of the top two catwalks in fair territory (catwalks A & B) it is in play.  If it strikes one of the botton two catwalks in fair territory (C & D) it is a dinger.  No one has ever hit A (because it is like a billion feet above the field and right over the plate).

When the ballpark was built (10 years before a team ever played there) HOK guaranteed that it was humanly impossible to hit the catwalks.  So much for that.

The turf, on the other hand, is in great shape.  The Trop was the first professional sports stadium in the country to go to FieldTurf and is also the first with the next generation of FieldTurf.

Good to see Jose is still doing PR for the Rays.   ;)

Jose I also heard that it is the only field in the league with dirt around the bases?  (for turf fields)

Why did they build that place?  Can you even play football in it?  I mean, those seats above home plate were empty and Im assuming it was becasue you simply cant see the game from there?
