"Hello?....ECAC selection committee?...sure,I'll hold.......................................
Ok, uh, yes, this is one of the captains from 2006 Cortland and I'd like to emphatically confirm
our interest in the 2006 ECAC game."

I'm gonna whoop your ass RedSwarm....

There is unrest in the forest,
There is trouble with the trees,
For the maples want more sunlight
And the oaks ignore their pleas.

The trouble with the maples,
(And they're quite convinced they're right)
They say the oaks are just too lofty
And they grab up all the light.
But the oaks can't help their feelings
If they like the way they're made.
And they wonder why the maples
Can't be happy in their shade.

There is trouble in the forest,
And the creatures all have fled,
As the maples scream "Oppression!"
And the oaks just shake their heads

So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights.
"The oaks are just too greedy;
We will make them give us light."
Now there's no more oak oppression,
For they passed a noble law,
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet, axe, and saw.

alright u freaks, goons, ghosts etc....its friday and prediction time for the shoes game. lay your predictions and why on the LLPP for everyone out there to view for everyone to see and we will find out who can predict football

RPI 24
Union 18

That's what gro predicted on in the HuddLLe.  In football math 18 is an "odd" number, but gro just threw it out there. Bottom line, Gro sees this as a repeat of the 2006 game. It will be close, exciting, and a win for RPI.

I believe 'Micah from Tennessee' predicted that score as well.

There is no Micah only Gro

He stole my line

Great write up.....+1

Had to take a double take....U89 thought RPI's star DT's name was Khaly Merlot......that would have been too perfect.

The Shoes Game!
This will be the toughest opponent RPI has faced this year, Union team is highly motivated as their season start poorly and they have something to prove.  Union FY QB is growing each week ... he has now started 4 games and is 2 – 2 in his career.  His progress and confidence improves every week, Union has big O line and needs to use it this week.  The week off will allow the team to heal up they also have a starting D Tackle back who got hurt in the Hobart game. This should be a smash mouth war in the trenches ...
Union Keys to the game;
No gifts to RPI – Union needs a + in the turnover column
Shut down RPI rushing attack (under 100) so the D can blitz
Have Connolly mix the deep ball in to stretch the RPI D and keep them honest with their run support for Coney (150 – 200 yards on the ground). Union QB has had 3 TD passes in the last 2 games of 22, 54 and 71
Keep Robertson on the sideline wear down the D w/ball control and TOP

Union - 31
RPI - 28

dewcrew I see you on here any thoughts about tomorrow and the shoes? I know as a fan I am wearing spikes because of the mess that is called 86' field. Very quiet on here for "shoes" eve. Actually I think 86' field is one of the coolest football fields I have ever been to. There is something special about it and the feeling you get when you are there. Only problem is that RPI plays there. ****ing ruins it!

Sorry Union guys... I have RPI taking this one. Union has a lot of good young players, and they will play balls out, but in the end, I think the experience of RPI rules the day... I say the game will be pretty close, but it'll be the first time since 2003 it ends with a margin of more than a touchdown

RPI: 28
Union: 17

It will be a good game and a great atmosphere, third time I've attended one of these games. Should be nice weather and a HUGE crowd. Hope to meet some RPI and Union fans there, come up and say hello if you see me!

Does this apply in everyday life?

That would be cool, just for the confusing looks alone.  Tell them your the keymaster.
