X's and O's

Geez - don't think I've posted since the NCAA run back in '03. Good to be back. Glad to see some familiar faces (and at least one I'm not so glad is still here).

The RPI/Bart game has all the makings of a classic. League title & NCAA bid on the line. Last game on '86 field etc. The early challenge for RPI will be controlling their emotions. I see this game either being low scoring (i.e. high teens/low 20's) or a track meet. Any idea on the under/over line?

Regardless, RPI wins as there is no way the last game on '86 will be anything but a W for the Engineers. (BTW - I expect at least two phantom tackles and bizarre bounce on a loose ball by the '86 field turk to complete it's storied career.)

U89 heading to Schenectady this weekend for the MMA game and to pay respect to his good friend Brett Russ & the 1983 team (1st Stagg Bowl team) who will be inducted into the Union Athletics Hall of Fame.

U89 was not on that team but played with some of the freshmen on that team when U89 himself was a freshman.

Man, I hope I can contain myself and I don't spontaneously break out the 'Tomahawk Chop'....'Gro any tips in how to suppress this??

Hey, someone currently on LLPP has a screen name YoungCougar......U89 does not think this is as good as it sounds.....I think it's simply an adolescent who roots for the Kean University football program....

Bummer.

U89 are you refering to the Rotterdam NY native John "the courgar" Mellancamp or those ****ing hot older women that we all have loved since we were little? Cougars are so enticing!

U89 -

The area of Los Angeles that TGP resides is well populated with cougars - both young and old.  My single friends indicate that attacks are most likely to occur at watering holes when a younger males' defenses are down due to alcohol consumption.

You've been warned.

PBR...

Amen brother!! Nomine Padre, Filgilio, Spiritusante! I cross myself everytime I see one! By the way Mellancamp is not from Rotterdam NY but since that town is caught in the 80's I pretend it is his birthplace!
