KS: Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story...

Frank: Your long windedness and always having to get the last word in grows very old on people.  Proof is in the pudding.

Then feel free to scroll past my posts, TDT.  Wouldn't want you to hurt your brain or anything.

Curry rushed for 12 yards vs. Plymouth.

Plymouth rushed for 250 yards vs. Curry.

Reno, I honestly have no idea what you want me to say about your handicapping/picking debate....If you don't like my answers, go away....not sure where your frustration comes from.

I still don't get this whole 10 year Union football window.

didnt they have one of the better teams in the country 3 years ago?

Curry's passing game can be pretty potent.  They hung with SJF for a little while last year in the playoff game I called.  It's not an awful team.  I'm very intrigued by a potential matchup.

I just dont see how you can write off Curry so easily. They beat the E8 Champ last year. Union would not have. I bet Curry would beat WPI and Rochester this year. Union did not.

The E8 champ was Hartwick....kind of a flukey E8 champ and a perfect match-up for Curry at home....take nothing away from Curry, they won the game.

Who's to say Union would not have beaten Hartwick last year?  'Wick was amazingly inconsistent and BRUTAL on the road....lost to both Western New England & Curry from the NEFC.

they beat SJF and Ithaca. Maybe Union would have beaten Wick last year (prob not but they did have a veteran D).
they would not have beaten SJF or Ithaca!

10 years ago you could write in pen Union for 8 wins every year.

In the last 7 they have had more than 7 wins once. 2005 as you mentioned. Great team. but an anomaly of the last 7 years, not the norm.

Probably not, but that's not what you said.  You started this conversation involving Curry...now you are kind of all over the place.

I'm out of this 1 for now.....

So would Plymouth State Beat Union, then?

Honestly, who cares....we were debating a possible ECAC match-up with Curry and it's advantages/disadvantages to Union long term.  There is pretty much no chance Union will play Plymouth this year.  If someone else wants to talk about that cool....topic doesn't interest me though.

I dont think so either. I also know that Plymouths resume isnt as good as Currys. They have not won a playoff game in the last 15 years. They have had winless seasons for crying out loud!

I just think that winning a NCAA Playoff Game, brought Curry from a gimme game to a team that you have to take very seriously because they can knock you off.
I also think that Union is not where U89 thinks they are as a program. I dont think there is anyone on Unions Schedule other than USMMA that is a gimme game. They lost to wpi AND rochester this year for crying out loud! I dont see how a handicapper would make a team that lost those 2 games, was down 14-0 to SLU and has beaten 1 team with a winning record this season a favorite against Curry. A team less than 12 months removed from being in the top 20 in the nation.
