She has a face?  The Rev didn't notice.

As always, we invite you to join Tom Santa Barbara and me live on WABY-Mechanicville 1160AM in the Capital New York Region, or at http://saratogamoon.com over the Internet, for this week's road game for the Union Dutchmen Football Team at the Susquehanna Crusaders starting at 12:45PM EST.  Union's 28-season streak of non-losing seasons is at stake, as is a potential ECAC Bowl bid.

In addition. throughout the game, we will monitor the status of relevant games that may affect Liberty League team seeding and selection, namely for Hobart and RPI.  We'll discuss the changing scenarios and how they may affect Pool C selection throughout the East Region as the changes develop.

Please join us, and feel free to email us during the broadcast at rossif@yahoo.com for any questions you'd like answered on the air.

                                      GAME DAY !!!!
for the love of the game

I'm assuming any non-Bart fans didn't check it out, but the two deep in the game notes shows Vella #1 and DOYLE #2.  I don't know if Doyle is still quasi injured/hurt (you've all had the coach ask "are you injured, or are you hurt?  Because if you're hurt get the hell back in there!" at some point) and can play if necessary, or if Vella's play in the 4th quarter of the RPI game officially elevated him at this point.  I didn't think Cragg would give away a job because of injury and that may still be the case (I believe Larry Gregorak and Jamieson Crast, the other QB's are a far way away from playing in anything other than a double monkeystomp).  It could also be that Doyle only had the thinnest of grips over the position from pre-season anyway, it wasn't as though he was a returning starter, he's a senior and has has thrown a lot of bad balls this year.

Just thought it was interesting.  I'm heading up soon to Geneva, its raining and if it turns into a random mudfest and Bart blows it in some garabage weather to a mistake prone Rochester I'm going to borrow's the Rev's gun for the night.

TGP thinks Doyle is still banged up (why else would he not play on Senior Day of all days?) and that Cragg is expecting his Bartmen to beat down the Beez.

TGP was curious as to why that JUCO QB from San Fran hasn't gotten any looks this season, but perhaps the bottom line is that he just isn't as good as Vella?  It did get TGP's attention to see that Hobart snagged a QB and LB from a NC JUCO team based on the media guide in pre-season.  Guess that JUCO isn't the same as D3 LL style ball b/c TGP hasn't heard of either of those guys since.

Enjoy the rain.  The mountains are on fire again and the air is full of smoke out here in LA.  Would love some rain right about now.

Didn't matter.  Cassel got enough for both.  Thursday night football screws me everytime.  I put in Cassel, then I decided why not put in BenJarvis too...Even though im stacked at RB.
