TGP is home alone this weekend since the wife and kids are in FLA.

Last night TGP hit hollywood and is now just waking up to tune into the WEOS broadcast.  Doyle starting for Hobart.  Snow covering the Boz.  22 degrees and flurries.

Great day for football back in Geneva (but TGP will admit to being happy it's 60 degrees outside his sliding glass window here in CA).

Lyco wins the coin toss and elects to receive and start on offense.

Bart D sends the house on the first play of the game and a nice screen dump off and run by Lyco RB gains 44 yards. 

D holds on 3rd down, Lyco goes on 4th and 12 from the 23.

DL Faraca bats down pass and Bart D stands and gives offense the ball back. 

Offense driving - Vincent even lined up at QB for a play and took a direct snap 15 yds to covert for a 1st down.  Balanced attack btw rush and pass.

Doyle almost intercepted on 3rd and 10 from the Lyco 20.  4th down Bart is going for it.

Vincent almost makes a 1 handed catch at the 2 but it pops out.  Bart turns it over on downs.

Lyco driving - Jeff Sanders drops a sure INT on 1st down.

Lyco following the RG and RT beef (both guys are 300lbs+).

Kleinfelter on 3rd and 1 gets held up so Lyco punts.  Hobart gets ball back after punt on the Bart 20.  Bart's 2nd possession gets no where, Lyco drives until Boyington makes his 6th INT of the season.

Another offensive stall, Bart punts from their 20 and its a short kick.  Lyco driving with a short field.  Lyco on the Bart 27.  3 and 10 for Lyco when Bart calls a T.0.

0-0 with 13:10 on the clock in the 2nd quarter

Out of the TO - Hobart picks off Dwyer but negated by Aruck being offsides.

3rd and 5 - incomplete pass to Wagaman.  4th and 5 from the 22 - play clock violiation on Lyco (2nd time Lyco's been flagged for this today).  4th and 10, Lyco takes a TO.

Dwyer in the gun - incomplete.  Bart D holds again.

Bart offense continues to struggle.  OL losing the battle at the LOS to the Lyco DL.

Doyle picked off by FS Reese.  Bad throw/decision by Doyle overthrowing his receiver.

Story of this game is really about the Lyco D winning the LOS.  Doyle hasn't had a ton of pressure but Lyco has batted down about 5 balls at the LOS.  Lyco not blitzing at all as the front 4 is really doing the job.

Both Doyle's picks were with open men but Doyle underthrew.  Wondering if shoulder is (probably) the issue.  

Bart driving now.  Marlier breaks one after a short toss.  Dewall switching up the play calling to move Doyle a bit and keep the passes less than 10 yards.

well designed screen but overdorf gets cut down by lyco defender - great open field tackle saves lyco d from giving up a first down putting bart in the red zone.
