I think it could be closer but Cortland wins 42-17

Mount Union 49 Hobart 13

Hobart seems to be able to move the ball.  They just need to keep the ball....forever...

D O.C.

Only 0-14 in the first. That's good, isn't it?

14-0 at the half is even better...

Good season Bart, you made it interesting at 21-7 but couldnt hold them off....

Just got back from the game. It was a fine effort by the Statesmen today. Your defense was very solid. Unfortunately, when your 2 longest plays are fake punts, it becomes very difficult to win. More production from the offense, could have made it interesting. Hobart should be proud of the effort today as well as the nice fan support. Congrats on a great season and a solid performance.

great effort by Statesmen...they punched the Raiders in the mouth and got much respect from Raiders and fans..
Hobart fans were great and travelled well....Great games by #40. #75, #9....THEY PLAYED THEIR GUTS OUT...as I said on OAC board, you just can't fall behind Mount as it causes most teams to make serious errors when they try to catch up....

Nice job by the Hobart defense today.  They made Kmic work for his 235 yards and played hard.  Their secondary was the best Mount has seen this season and was the first group that could run stride for stride with Cecil Shorts.

The 'Bart O-line played well, but not enough offensive firepower to keep up.  Doyle stood big in the pocket and threw a nice ball, but the WR's and RB's didn't have the spreed to stretch the field or hit the big play that they needed.

Their defense played well enough to win, but the offense was non-existant.  Overall, a well coached team that played hard.  Good luck next season!

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Great game today Hobart.  Your men played hard and were well coached.  No doubt you had the most inovative 4th down offense we've seen.  :D  Kept it interesting into the 3rd quarter.  Congratulations on a great season, and best of luck in '09.

Great game today by the Statesmen--you really put it to the Raiders.  This was, by far, the toughest game they have played all season.  Your team is the real thing.  I would love to see a home and away series after we are done stomping SJF.

Good luck in the off season--see you next year, I hope.
