Nice double for Platteville

1 Marcia Taddy       Sr.  UW-Platteville            21:39.76

1 Tyler Sigl         Jr.  UW-Platteville        25:09.71

Calvin at the WIAC:

Just a guess:

Calvin        31
LaCrosse   58
Oshkosh    78

That's based on how Calvin and Oshkosh have lined up, and on how LaCrosse and Oshkosh lined up today.

I would guess you're right.

LaCrosse sucks.

Congratulations to McMurry's Women's Cross Country team on their winning the ASC Championship.

Coach David Chandler has done a great job with them.

The men had their best conference individual performances in several years only to finish 2nd to a strong UT-Tyler.  Keep up the good work and I look forward to Track in the Spring!

What's better.....
  .....old school candy stripes or.....

  .....checkerboard?

I think the new Osksh uniforms are the coolest ever in CC.  The old North Central vertical stripes were okay, but these new checkerboard uniforms--the team actually designed them--are the bomb.

Congrats to the NCC men on ANOTHER conference championship and to the women on their championship as well!  It was a great weekend to be a Cardinal!

The candy stripes kicked D3 ass for years . . . that alone makes them better.

"Kicked" is past tense, which is true.  NCC no longer a threat.

Mr. Ypsi

Some real domination in Michigan hs cc this weekend.  Dexter (in winning their 5th consecutive state title in division 2) shattered the long-standing state record of 39 (each division races well-over 200 runners between teams and individual qualifiers) with a 28.  Their record lasted all of 30 minutes as Pinckney won their second consecutive division 1 [biggest schools] title) with a 27.  Dexter and Pinckney both train at Hudson Mills Metropark - must be some magic at that location! ;D
