There once were some players out cruisin'
The Emory mean streets ... they're bruisin'!
For Blizzards they're hopin'
But DQ's not open!
It's now sleepin' cows we'll be losin'!

I recommend the Blizzard with Reese's cups.  It's cool!  :)

PS My Dad was one of the leaders in my Boy Scout troop when I was a kid in the 60's.  He let us take a Tenderfoot snipe hunting on a weekend camping trip in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Meadows of Dan, VA.  We told him snipes were used for that little piece of meat in Pork'n'Beans, but I guess he never thought too much about why they called them PORK 'n' Beans.  lol  Anyway, about three hours after we went to bed he came dragging back with his burlap sack, his cowbell and a runny nose.  It was funny in 1965, but my late Dad would have probably been sued for cruelty, neglect and child abuse in 2007!  :)  Happy hunting!

In the farming community in which I was raised, the tobacco farmers would also send the greenhorns to a neighbor's house to borrow the "barn stretcher."  lol

I'll toot miz's horn for him...

He was all-conference first team his junior and senior year.  He's No. 10 on the school's all-time career sacks list with 11.5.  His senior year, he led a defense that gave up only 15.2 points a game, and held all 10 opponents to three or less TDs. Oh, and he has a really cool brother.

There's miz.  TheEHC52, you're up. :)

TheEHC52 - Your boy Booher throws more interceptions per attempt - here's the league breakdown:
Vogelbach - 1/54.8 attempt
Braner    - 1/26.6 attempt
Highfill  - 1/26.2 attempt
Sedlar    - 1/23.8 attempt
Ricca     - 1/21.1 attempt
Jacobs    - 1/16.5 attempt
Booher    - 1/14.3 attempt
Varner    - 1/12.1 attempt
Vogelbach's ratio is unbelievable (5 picks in 274 attempts) and should shut up his critics...only Vogelbach, Ricca(232) and Sedlar(214) have thrown more than 133 passes...Braner, Highfill, Sedlar and Ricca's ratios are not great but not terrible...the other three are pretty bad.

Actually, I did not miss a day from 2nd-12th (I had it all in 1st grade - measles, chicken pox, etc.!) and never cut a class in college or grad school, so I guess I'm liable for some major pandemics.  You're correct, my mother is completely irresponsible.  In fact, I just called her and also blamed her for your corn dog attack.  lol  :)

Researching the ODAC qb stats got me thinking(slow day at the office, even for a government worker)about interception ratios in the NFL...of the top 5 NFL qbs this year in passing yards, all but Brady have had one or two down years as far as throwing ints goes...Favre threw 1/20 in 2005 and 1/22 in 2003...Romo was 1/25 last year and is 1/21 this year...Kitna was 1/16 last year...even Peyton Manning has a couple of not great years (1/20 in 1998 and 1/23 in 2001).Brady has been remarkably consistent in not throwing interceptions (never more than 14 in a season)...probably explains all the wins and Super Bowls.

Wonder what Romo is after 5 versus the Bills on Monday night?  ... and the Cowboys still won!

Now that's funny I tell you!!  ;D ;D Hasa....make my Blizzard an Oreo and a large if you are buying.  ;) :D

I don't have any cool stats like the miz, but that happens when you play OL.  All I've got going for me is smallest starting OL in the NCAA at all levels and I was in ESPN the Mag for Academic All-Region.  I'll concede victory to the miz though.  Always said I'm not afraid to eat crow.

P.S. No siblings, but a pretty cool Dad.

How much would that dollar be worth today had you invested it instead of buying homemade candy from the local drug store?
