I am going to give one example and this example is all one needs to know.
I tell you what, I will not even name the teams that were playing in this particular incident because its not even important. But what is important is the sorry azz ref that was standing 5 feet away and facing this play.......
OK....A touchdown is scored, a rushing TD into the endzone.
Ok, T.D. signal is called by ref. Play over for at least 10 seconds.
All at once a defensive player decides to run up " BEHIND " one of the leading blockers on the offense, as his back is turned and he hits him from behind, and knocks the player to the ground .
Now, keep in mind that a ref is standing right there and Ray Charles could have seen this, because everyone else did.
What does the REF do ?........NOTHING !!!.....No Flag thrown !!!!!
I mean this could have caused serious injury, or even more, if that was my son who got the cheap shot.....Well, lets just say me and that ref would have had a meeting after the game.....If you know what I mean ?
I know this is on film.....I wonder what league officials would say about this particular Ref ?.......Right.....Nothing !
So, I dont even want to hear people making excuses for this kind of REF !
My Point......Plain and simple....Some Refs DO NOT CARE !!!





Was that an ODAC game? If that ref saw the penalty he should be banned for dereliction of duty. If he didn't see it he should be banned for incompetence. AND the offending player should be barred. No place for that at any level. Hope the player on the receiving end of that thuggery is OK.

But it was a relief valve. They make me so damn mad.

Well anyway fellow posters I am off for train up at Camp Lejuene NC for follow on service to IRAQ. I will be out of the net until about the end of NOV. Then I will give the skinny on D10 Iraqi football leagues. No one has explained the use of a frag as a ball to play with but they will learn.

It will hurt this former Ranger to have to live with Marines but hey...it's the only war we got.

If I am not bumped off too quick I will give you the low down. Keep the faith.

Using exaggeration really does not help your argument.  Does anyone seriously believe a hit 10 seconds after the end of the play would not be penalized???  If so then you really have no conception of how long 10 seconds is.  I suspect there may have been a late hit, but not 10 seconds late. 

I know for a fact that ODAC schools routinely send video in to the supervisor of officials in the ODAC and he has dealt with guys who he believes do not measure up.  If you are close enough to your team's coach, ask him what he did about the "10 second " late hgit?  Did he send it in?  What action was taken?

Good luck over there ABNRGR.  I think I just got your acronym for the first time.  I had a little brother over in Afghanistan for all of 2003.  You'll make it.  Looking forward to reading more of your stuff.  Keep us posted.
