Our broadcast booth is set up in the parking lot -- hope you guys camp nice and close. Looks like a shed with windows in the front.

We may have an FM problem in the stadium this year but we'll bring speakers.

I'm preparing an IPO for Stone Station Stagg Stout now.  lol  Jacketlawyer, we'll probably need some legal help to trademark Stone Station, 4S, etc.  Are you in?  Never mind that the NCAA probably has some sort of legal hold on Stagg.  Shhhh.  :)  I hope everyone has a great time!

Just don't put an Indian feather in the logo and you'll be ok...

No Indian feathers in the logo or, I might add, in the vat.  Got it!  Speaking of feathers, all Gamecocks should be relieved as well.  :)  Signed, Guilford '74, USC Dec. '75

Dang Hasa......did you sign it with a pen and quil? I'm surprised you figured out how to use a computer. Did you take night classes at the local AARP chapter!!  :D ;D :D

Sorry about that...just busting your chops a little. I'm gearing up for the trip tomorrow. Man, I wish you were going up. It would have been fun to have intelligent conversations from someone from Greensboro who can actually speak the language!!  :D ;D     I'll be sure to take a swig for you during communion!
Pen and quill.  Too funny!  Actually, we had a wood-burning computer when I was growing up in Patrick Co., VA.  :)  AARP doesn't have night classes - we have to be in bed by 9.  lol  Hey, I am what I am - my parents didn't consult me about when I'd be born, so I just make the best of it.  :)  I wish I was making the trip as well.  I had a great time last year and looked forward to meeting you and others.  I thought I had everything in order until my boss threw me a curve about Saturday night versus Friday.  I'm sure you'll have more intelligent conversations without me than with me, but thanks for the compliment!  Speaking of folks from Greensboro, what's happened to some of our "former" posters from that "other" school downtown?  We miss them over here in the west side 'burbs where we actually have trees, our own football field and, dare I say it, a library.  Sadly, however, many of our books have smaller print and are not illustrated.   I participated in communion on Oct. 13 at BC, so please take a swig of everything for me!  Make sure Bo examines the bottles presented by the waiter before he passes them to everyone else.  We want to make sure the vintage is correct!  What would that be - last Tuesday?  lol  Cheers and Peace

I'll tune in as much as I can, Pat.  I'm sure you and your colleagues will do your usual great job.  I'm sorry I can't be there in person this year, but thanks for covering DIII sports!

If you want us close, save us about 15-20 spots and we can make it happen.  If your spot is close to where we were last year then your in business.

Llama, skoal, et al...the cooler is packed, every piece of warm/dry camo I own is packed, and I am ready to roll. I am majorly concerned about this weather. Getting there tomorrow should not be a problem but getting home may be. A foot of snow will not keep me away but ice might.  :'( I almost bought the farm last Friday AM on ice.  :o I have a 4WD but they are pretty much worthless on ice. I will be very disappointed if I am unable to make it. Will just have to play it by ear and see what it looks like in the AM.  Ya'll behave yourself tonight now you hear!!  ;)

Thanks.  I've been known to hang with the weird-sense-of-humor crowd a time or two in my life.  :)  In fact, I'm sometimes accused of being the leader.  lol   Enjoy the Stagg Bowl and nice going on the Orange Bowl ticket!  I'll be looking for you in the crowd when I watch on Jan. 3.  I assume you're not a Jayhawk fan, so I'll just look for all the men in their forties wearing a VaTech shirt.  Piece of cake!  lol

CNU85; I won't be down until the a.m.  Still cooking the pork and gathering last minute items.  I've got the motorcycle trailer packed full of wood and goodies.  My ETA is around 8:00 a.m.  Don't over do it tonight because there is nothing worse than trying to lick a hangover on Game Day.

Allsky, don't worry about the trip back home.  There is a hotel less than 2 miles away and floor isn't that bad.  Just pack a sleeping bag.

I'm looking forward to it!  Everyone drive safe and I can't wait for the D3 Fellowship!

fallguy

Purple v Purple is killing D3 . ESPN and the rest of the non d3 community could care less about this non- competitive annual clown show.

Allsky - don't worry about the ice. Come on up. If the ice hits, there is plenty of space around here. I've got a King and Queen bed in my room...plus I noticed room 218 has been left wide open all night with nobody in it...you could sneak in there!!!  :D

I think this is what is unique and special about d3football. We all know who is playing tomorrow. Yet, at dinner and for drinks tonight this CNU fan sat at tables with  and chatted with fans from Wesley, Mary Hardin Baylor, Bridgewater, and Wabash. Plus, a Sports Illustrated guy. That's 5 d3 schools being represented at this game even though their team is not playing.

Truly special. Made possible by this board and Pat Coleman. Also made possible by the hospitality of the Bridgewater Stone Station guys.

Thanks to all - to some this is just a game with a lot of food and talking. To me, this is much more than that. It's people coming together from Texas to Chicago to Delaware....friends all, putting the daily grind and stresses aside to share a few moments of fellowship.

Truly special!
