Looks like it will be an interesting year in the ODAC. BC is young but talented. All will depend on how the O-line & D-line come together this season. No predictions as to record but they should be fun to watch as they mature!

Kudos to "The Kid"! I will be in attendance to see the "Men of Troy" and even better, the "Women of Troy" aka white sweaters with USC in 3-D on their chest's as they invade C'ville next Saturday.  ;D

I missed everyone at the Pigskin Preview today but will be off work and back for the scrimmage next week in full force.

Go BC!

If they travel with the same group as they did to ODU for women's hoops a couple years ago, the sidelines on Saturday will be very entertaining ;)

Will be making the trip to see my first Wasp game September 13. Any Wasp faithful around?

We have a freshman player.  He playes D End and is hopeful to make a big impression over the years.

This wasp mom will be traveling to see all home games for sure and away too if he makes the travel team.  For that we will just have to see. Funny how the away games are so much closer the E and H campus.

Hope to meet you sometime.

We were there 2 weeks ago getting our boy to camp and the field and all the capital improvements are outstanding.  You will be pleased especially with Phase 2 coming on.

I am very excited to have a child at Emory.  The coaching staff has been wonderful.  Montgomery come to find out is related to us by marriage.  Found out in an interesting way for sure.  Big Catholic family for sure.

Looking forward to meeting some of you alumni for sure.  We will be tailgating and cheering on the boys.

I just thought I would find out if subject lines within the category has ever been considered.

Or it could be I am just not yet familier with this board.

We've had some thoughts about threaded conversations but this seems to be popular with people. If you use the NEW icon on the South Region topics page next to the name of the thread, you'll always be taken to the posts you haven't read yet.

I like the conference specific topics for general discussion.  It helps those of us outside the conference to put the subject into context more easily!

It is also cleaner than some of the message boards that have 150 topics that are supposedly "active" at all times!

As for being related by marriage, shucks ma'am, this is the South!  We're all related one way or another!  ;D

Due to the heavy rains in the Richmond area, the CNU-HSC scrimmage will not be held in Richmond; it will be held @ CNU (just in case any posters were planning to attend)

This is all I have from yesterday's scrimmage at NNA:

"Guilford quarterbacks threw for 387 yards and five touchdowns Saturday in a controlled scrimmage at the Newport News Apprentice School. Senior Josh Vogelbach and Billy Watkins threw for two touchdowns apiece and Jake Routh had two scoring receptions for Guilford."

Just an interesting note ... Michael Vite, the HC at NNA, was the Defensive Coordinator at Guilford the past two seasons.
