Can't sleep.

We know who the big time offensive threats are in the conference.

Who are some of the big names on D.

I know about Herndon from BC and that is it.

Gotta get back into the thick of things.

Player,
It will only be that way for about 24 more hours, then we will have to wait another year for Sydney week.

The real question is, Which will be the big games next year post the JD Ricca era at HSC? Will it be E&H after a year of learning Monty's system? Will it be Clark's crew post the Bublavi exodus? Or will it be W&L or Guilford that rises to the forefront?

What time is everyone planning on arriving down in Farmville tomorrow?  Or are you going tonite?  This place is starting to get electric and the game isnt even here.  The people that know anything about football or college athletics know what tomorrow means.  One of my roommates happens to be on the team...I wont name any names...but he said they have had a great week at practice and are ready to go.  I couldnt imagine anything less....

BC- More
HS-C- Less

hurley,
170yds between two backs is considered talented?   ::) ???   I'm a little confused on why you're attacking Kid for HIS analysis when NOBODY has talked about HSC's running game that much.. for all we know it doesn't exist and considering this is the first game back that both of you're awesome running backs will be healthy doesn't mean they won't be rusty or in shape.   I'll take BC's 3-4 deep running attack over anyones in the ODAC.  As for the 2 deep chart, I'm fairly certain 95% of the posters on this site know what that is.. and it's not due to the fact we want to be reporters.. alot of us played at various levels in our lifetime... some even against the Nannied HSC Tigers! :D

[...] So Kid, do you aspire to be a professional reporter?  Or do you just aspire to be the pro-bono type reporter? [...]

Neither.  That's why I was lost by his posts.

I could see W&L rising to be one of the big games next year because the Generals have been getting better and better each season, as well as Catholic with the defensive mind that they have, or Guilford with their apparently new offensive attack.  I don't see E&H  stepping it up unless they change the offense back to the way it was last season.  Woods is a shot-gun quarterback and putting him under center makes him uneasy.  He is one of those guys that needs to already be back there and sitting in the pocket.  Play-action and dropping back just isn't his "bread and butter".  Just look at the stats from last year and this year to see that.  Even though this system is new and Monty is the great defensive mind from Mount U., I think they need someone else in there to help with offense.  Until they change things offensively at E&H, plus getting some great recruiting classes, count them out of contention every year.

Just in case anyone was curious, I should be rolling into HSC around 10 am.

So, just where are all you HSC fans this week?  No banter?  No bold predictions like we heard earlier in the year?  Nothing???

I mean, usually you all don't disappear from this board until AFTER you play Bridgewater ;)

MEET YOUR NEW BOSS...

THE SAME AS THE OLD BOSS!!!

Gal

Kid, I think the Dodge will be rolling through Bridgewater around 7 am. So I'm guessing we'll be there sometime after that! :P What time are you and the Mrs. leaving?

Coach, you mean we're gonna be graced with your presence tomorrow?!?!?!

Only 25 hours, 40 minutes till kickoff!!!! *insert Rick Flair "WOOOOOOO" here* GO BC!!!  :-*

Stone Station Update:

Just talked to Llamaguy and here is the low down on the tailgating area.  It's the parking lot right next to Kirby Field House.  Nice set up with a lot of grass and a little pond nearby.  HSC Security told Ellen Layman it's the same designated area that we had two years ago.  I'm not too sure of the policy on adult beverages but two years ago there was an area to the right that was for the consumption of adult beverages only.

I will say HSC Security was quite "tight" two years ago before and after the game so please use descretion if you plan on enjoying adult beverages.  I don't think they play around when it comes to that.

ETA:  9:00/9:30 a.m.  Let's Rock!!!

BC: 56
HSC: 32

Yes, it's going to be that ugly!!!

I guess I'll plan on getting there that early too.  Just have to get the "Mrs" on board.  Although that won't be tough ... she - a JMU grad - has been to more BC games the past 5 years than Skoal, Llama, and Snake combined  :D (seriously ... she even traveled to Guilford with me in 2000 and 2002 ... what a trooper!)

I always loved HSC security walking around with their weapons. Is there really that much of a criminal threat in Farmville that every security guard need to have guns at their waist.

Can HSC/BC posters just argue as if the game isnt played until nov. 13 for the rest of the season. Gonna miss the week for sure. Gonna hate the "told ya so" procession next week.

Hate to see Bublavi only get one year with clark. Honest opinion, is 4 years of those two together would have equaled alot of records being broken. That being said the rest of the d3 world will be formally introduced to Greg "dont call me Charles" Brown. Next in a long line of Clark's all-americans(Can't think of a year where he had none) Not to mention R. Bowman (you'll meet him too).

To say CUA is loading up may be an under statement. Not gonna be nearly as deep as the water for a few more years but definitely gonna have the horses to compete from here on out.

I don't think Sydney will fall off as Fav always finds nifty toys. Probably got some kids all geared up to be the man for the next 4 years.

Don't know anything about E and H cept they got a coach from Mt. Union. I guess it all depends on how well he is able to recruit.

I hope this conference does become 4 deep. That would mean the team that makes the playoffs would be alot better prepared  for the playoffs.

You're exactly right on that.
