Bmore BC

I have been wondering where the HSC posters are this week. Do they not have any fans that believe in them? Its kind of boring when there is no one to go against the grain. I remember the last game that BC played in Farmville, there were a lot of phantom P.I. calls. Hope the refs remember it is football not the NBA so that doesn't become a factor. It's just sad the ODAC officials are so lazy that they don't mix up the order of opponents each team plays in the division. That way the conference won't be decided on the fourth regular season game.

Final Prediction
BC 34
HSC 21

My guess is that H-SC fans (former players) are laying low because they don't want to give Bridgewater any "locker room material" ... on the other hand, miz and company have written a book for Favret to use all this week and tomorrow.

When I was told (by a Sydney player) that one of my posts was used in the locker room (I believe two years ago), then I stopped with the "we are going to beat you because of this, this, this and this" talk.

They already had plenty anyway. If they need lockerroom material to get up for a team that has beat them like BC has then that is sad.

Not to mention the laugh I got out of the DNR article the other day. Faveret said, " my daughter is in high school in Farmville and kids of BC grads are already talking trash about how BC will beat HSC". Classssssssiiiccccc!

Hey, as I've said before:

If HSC is really so sorry a program that they need to use some old guys posts on a message board as motivation for what is obviously their most important game of the year then by all means, tape 'em up on the walls and the ceilings.  Because while you guys are busy talking about "Post Patterns" Mike Clark and the Eagles are focused and busy preparing to beat your butt (again)  I mean that's pathetic.  Really pathetic.

And as much as I love Bridgewater Football and as much as I like to "debate" on this board I am not dissillusioned enough to think that anything I (on anyone else on here) writes will have any bearing whatsoever on anything that occurs between 1 and 4pm Saturday.

It's a message board people.  That's all.

If a team needs 'bulletin board material' to get up for a game like this, I think that team has bigger problems to worry about.

This has become a big rivalry for both teams, and I feel confident our players know what this game means.

I'm sure the bowties know that also.  Our little fun and games on this board should not have any affect on the outcome, which will be

BC    52
HSC  48

But I won't be there.  Does Bridgewater have any accounting students who want on-the-job experience observing inventory this Saturday?

Enjoy the game guys, sorry I won't be there.

It sounds like I repeated your post, but we were just thinking the same way at the same time.

You must think quicker than I because you posted first.

Enjoy the game!

I miss the days when the players would actually get on the board and talk ****. A few years ago they actually made up most of the board.

I know I did. Pretty sure Gone did as well, though he is now banned from the board. I know alot BC guys did.

Now its just a bunch of "has beens" and fans.

Whats the best thing you ever heard on the board? Or on the field?

I really can't repeat most of the stuff I remember.

My favorite was from a W and L player to one of our guys before the game in 00' after we got off to a 1-3 start and they were 4-0. "We got an easy road to the playoffs, we only have to beat Bridgewater and we'll probably be undefeated." Probably never ate that much crow in his life 47-6.

The best were always from assistant coaches of opponents.

I'm pretty sure 'locker room material' is used at most - if not all - schools (in any sport).  Obviously Ricca doesn't need miz saying "JD folds under the pressure of this game every year" to get ready for this game.  It won't make him run any faster or throw any better.  He knows he's been only 14 points away the last two years from being an ODAC champion and competing in the NCAA playoffs.  He doesn't need our banter on here to remind him of that.

But I'm pretty certain that every coach (and/or player) uses something to help motivate and pump the players up.  Be it something that happened last season, something that happened in a practice, something that was said in the local paper, a streak that is on the line for them or their opponent, etc.  And in football, I'm sure Division III football uses message board talk quite a bit (maybe not in the locker room per say) seeing that we have D3football.com's Post Patterns, and everyone and their mom reads it.

Opps, I'm rambling ... anywho, getting back to my point ... H-SC has the talent, coaching staff, and school backing to get ready for any game ... the BC game being no different.  They don't need fan banter from PP to get prepared, but I'm sure it will be (or has been) mentioned at some point somewhere by someone to someone else (I was just trying to see how many times I could say some). :)

Well my crew will be leaving between 8 and 9 from BC in route to Framville.  As for Stone Station, what is the menu looking like because I can stop in Farmville and make a contrabution this week.  See ya'll at THE GAME.

Eh, after the Cards beat Sydney, it'll make Nov 12 more interesting.

I always loved HSC security walking around with their weapons. Is there really that much of a criminal threat in Farmville that every security guard need to have guns at their waist.

Yeah, cops are needed at HSC...ebay does a big business in selling hot bowties, especially the pink polka-dot type...and if the bow tie has a matching roll-up collar shirt to match, well, that helps bring the value down about 50%

One more time.....for the Tiger locker room:

Bud Light Presents "Real Men of HSC"

Today, we salute you, Mr. Constant Collar Putter Upper. You, bedecked in popped collar, teach us that we no longer have to live with a cold back of the neck. Sure, your pink alligator shirt may look feminine to some, but not to the other 17 Tigers wearing the same thing at the bar. Where others may see thoughtless fashion conformity, you preach a higher gospel. You preach of a world where it's okay for a man to go tanning. You ask, "Why can't we wear make-up and use shampoo with lavender essence?" So crack open an ice-cold Bud Light, Mr. Abercrombie & Fitch, because we all know, when we really need a piece of gum, you might have one... in your man purse.

Haha, you reminded me of our own C.J. Smart who used to post with the name "BCAC" meaning "Bridgewater College Athletic Conference" ... those were the days, lol!

I think it's great that all you "has beens" are still around and show interest/pride in your school, and more importantly Division III football.  Even though we come on here and banter (and in some cases in a violent manner), I think we can all agree we have a mutual respect for one another.  I can honestly say that if Sydney wins this weekend, I'll root for them (and obviously still BC) the rest of the season and in the playoffs.  If BC doesn't get in with a 7-2 record, then I'll definitely attend the Tigers' playoff game (well, not if they have to travel to Texas) :)

I hope it's a great game tomorrow ... with no injuries ... and no coaches/fans fighting ... and a mutual respect once the game is over.  I'll have my #1 jersey on with newly embroidered "eh ... just call me 'kid'" on the back  ;D ... be sure to come up and say hi!
