http://frostburgsports.com/schedule.aspx?path=football&;  reports that you're right, BlkJck2486.   Randolph-Macon won, 23-19.

Now the Yellow Jackets get to play Emory & Henry, Guilford, Bridgewater, and Hampden-Sydney.  The toughest part of their schedule is definitely the second half of it!

Congrats to all fans of Hampden Sydney on a huge road win today.
HSC did a great job today. While their passing game has gotten alot of press, I think that their D won the game for them today. E&H had opportunities but could not convert. I was pleased with Emory's defense today. They held when they had to. HSC has the potential to put a bunch on the board. I was pleased with the effort to limit the Tigers to 23 points. The game was fought hard on both sides. Again, HSC great job today.  WM

Congratulations to the Hampden Sydney Tigers for a hard fought victory on the road.  I was very impressed with the Emory and Henry defense and the adjustments that they made after the first quarter.  I agree with Waspermike that the HSC defense was the difference.  Pre-season All- American Caleb Jennings was held to 104 yards on 19 carries.  However he had a 74 yard touchdown run.  So except for the one big play, he had 30 yards on 18 carries.  I think that the difference in the game was that Jennings did not get going except for the one run. Both defenses were very good at bending and not giving up scores.

Arguably the biggest game of the year so far in the ODAC, so congratulations to HSC.  When you're this far into the season and both teams are unbeaten, it usually means they're both pretty good.  Another big step for the Tigers, especially on the road!

Definitely.  This is where it'll get very interesting.

Allright Stone Station folks, the week is finally here, been circled on the calendar since late August.  Your homecoming and my visit to Bridgewater for a day of tailgating and football.  Trying to get plans together for my trip.  The weather does not seem to be projected to be that bad at the moment, but that could change.  Llamaguy and Skoal, other than a case of fine adult beverage, what else can I bring to add to the food supply?  Are there other activities on campus after the game that would be fun for an out of towner to attend?  If either of you could, send me an IM with any details to help me plan.  Really looking forward to this weekend.

Looks like the Tigers are living up to pre-season selection, assuming they can avoid another late season collapse. Defense seems to be for real and that will certainly help them avoid a repeat of last years collapse against RMC. RMC seems to be improving each week so The Game could be a really good one and for all the marbles. I belive RMC still must play both Bridgewater and E&H, so way too early to know what we're looking at as far as how the ODAC might play out.

Good luck to all and may your teams avoid serious injury !!!!!

The Tigers (6-0) are now ranked #21 in the most recent American Football Coaches Association poll:

Sorry I can't be there this year.  Not sure how this game's going to go, but best of luck to my Quakers.  Hope it's a beautiful day for football and Stone Station.  Hello to all my friends enjoying the game!

Everybody tells me I can't come tomorrow because I was sick again this week, but it's Homecoming so I know I'll make an appearance at Stone Station.  How long I can stay at the game is another thing entirely.  But I will be there at the end to greet my players come hell or high water!!  Looking forward to seeing you, wesleydad!  Sorry not to see you this time, Hasanova. Jim Brown of Cleveland Browns--the Jim Brown-- is at the Hall of Fame Banquet tonight, but I am home wrapped up in a zillion layers of blankets.  What a drag!!!!! :) :) :)
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

just before 5 in the morning and I am getting ready to head out for a fun time at the bridgewater homecoming game.  seeing all the guys and gals with stone station will be a blast.  if all goes well I should be pulling in about 930 or so.  I will be easy to find if you want to say hi, I will surely be the only person wearing a Wesley football jersey.
