Ron,  That post tells me I should stick to what I know best and that is tailgating!  Good point.... Or our record and margin of victory over everyone will be so impressive that they (NCAA) will let us skip our first game and start in the second round.....That would be nice!!!

Whomever goes to the playoffs this year is going to have to (most likely) play an improved from last year W&J.  E&H will find out how good they are third game of the season. If we play well against them I will be happy. Playing well against them this year would definitly be better than last.  If we beat them I might just have to enter into a 12 step program.

Will there be one of these kickoff type things for D3hoops.com this year or next year?

Hey hardcore posters,
someone summarize these 10 pages for me. Any good Randolph-Macon posts? Any good I-hate-Hampden-Sydney or Emory & Henry posts?

Or should I just come back later?

Re: D3hoops Tipoff

Not in 2005-06. Aiming at 2006-07, though we don't know yet if it would cover just men's basketball or both men's and women's. We need to build up our stable of writers a little bit first.

I suggest doing just men's first. See what the demand is like, if there isnt enough demand to justify doing it again for the men, then you dont have to do the women! And if hell; happens to freeze over, you always have possibly a future journalist in me [minoring in Journalism]!  ;) ;D

Somehow I think willing SID's would be needed to do a project of the hoops preview magnitude.  I would be like to see both men and women if it is done, but would imagine that focusing more on the conference level rather than individual teams would be a nice way to kick it off.  Of course some conferences like the Skyline and CUNY would be difficult to get any information about.  I just hope to see it soon, but I am enjoying my D-III football preview, and I don't even have a team to root for.

FYI, E&H scrimmages Averett this coming Sat. I guess we'll find out and get some type of  indication of  what the up coming season will be like for the Wasp's. E&H should be better in the passing game than last season and if their secondary improves they should give anybody a run for their money. Pay close attention to the O/L. They are bigger, faster, stronger, smarter, and greatly improved from last season. Theyare going to suprise alot of folks in the ODAC. I am the E&H Dad---Peace

I just had a chance to breifly view the D3Football publication just released yesterday.  Man, what detail for D3.  Some suprising picks that I have seen thus far along with analysis from the D3 guru's here on D3Football.com.

What I was happy to see is the they have picked HSC to go 10-0 and 6-0 in the confernece with only 2 defensive starters.  Take the pressure of BC.  Bridgewater wasn't mentioned much as being the team that will travel far in the playoffs.  I like not being on the radar screen which means we can go quietly into thy good night.  Man, I'd like to know the "odds" of HSC going 10-0 because I'd drop some serious change saying that won't be the case.  They will be lucky to go 8-2.  I guess that's what makes this so much fun.   Put it on paper and let's play them out.

All in all, nice layout, easy to navigate.  Even for Rugbyguy.  If he has trouble we can get him a seeing eye mouse.  Get it?  That's funny!!!!

Great Job Pat and Keith.  Looks good.  I only wish you had a segment on the top 10 Tailgating D3 schools.  I know who #1 is followed by EHC at #2.

I would agree pizzashop Western Maryland did have a great tailgating atmosphere. But McDaniel's atmosphere sucks! ;)

I'm sorry guys I can't put BC in the top tailgating venues. We have quality. I'll put Stone Station up against any single tailgate site. Llama, Skoal, you guys know how to do it up!! But we don't have quantity. We need to bring about another 100 or so into the fold! It may not get better but it needs to get bigger!
