Sadly, I will be in Vegas.  Who should I bet on? I think I'm taking the under.
Damn!  Come on Snakehandler!  Killin' me Bro.  Who is going to do upside down beer bongs with the Mt. Union Student Body?  I can't do it.  We'll miss you man!  And maybe the Whitewater Ladies will be in attendance.  I know you gotta do what you gotta do.  We'll share some of the pictures but not all of them. :o

wesleydad

skoaltrain, brother what is up!!!! only 2 more days of work to get thru before one of the funnest weekends of the year.  cant wait to hang with you guys.  bringing some good brew to share and some bottles to add to the communion.  add to that getting to cheer for villanova on friday night adds to it, plus the talent will certainly be good at the owls hangout.  safe travels and we will see you on friday, aftennon or evening.

Is Kid coming this year?

90% sure he will not be in attendance. He is busy helping recruit the future Wahoos of the post-Groh era.  ;)

I have arrived at the Quality Inn in Salem ready for the STAGG Bowl festivities.  Half-way here I realized that I had forgotten the crockpot and big spoon which I need to make the meatballs.  Llamaguy, Skoal, bcphotos, Chris, Oil Can, Oil can's daddy, Wesleydad, can anyone arriving Friday afternoon bring a crockpot and a BIG spoon so I can make the meatballs overnight?  I would be most appreciative.  I also forgot the breadknife because it was with the other 2 items.  There are 4 bready things to cut, but that will be easier to find probably.  Please somebody send me a message if you can be helpful.  I'll go into my file & make sure the cell # is correct.  I really goofed on this and need help!!!

Have no fear OlineMom!  Skoaltrain can bring a large 4-5 quart crockpot for you.  It will be in my 7 X 12 foot trailer somewhere.  I'll be at Salem Stadium sometime on Friday between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.  Just depends how long the BBQ needs to cook.  Just put it on at 9:30 this a.m.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!!!!

wesleydad

hey all stone station folk.  it is almost game time, or pre-game time.  cant wait to get to salem and it looks like i may move up my arrival time since the storm seems to be confused as to when it wants to get there.  We can check in our hotel at 2, so we might as well get there as early as possible.  Snow is still better than cold and rain, avoid the wet crap.  Got me a case of Clipper City brew variety pack and a couple of bottles to add to the communion since I think we will have a couple more participants this year.  safe travels to all of you and we will see you in less than 24 hours.  Bo, i have your number and will give you a call when we arrive to get the time on the hooters friday night gathering.  glad that we purchased the explorer, may need the clearance and traction if the called for amount of snow falls.

Olinemom

so, Wesleydad and Jason, where are you all staying?  Hopefully near the quality inn. I'm hunkered in, listening to the forecast for the snow.  I might be staying longer than intended if it comes as much as it is calling for.  I attended the Gagliardi trophy banquet tonight and it was wonderful!  Got to meet Blaine Westemeyer(sp) from Augustana.  3.9 bio-chem and OFFENSIVE LIVE!!  What a well spoken young man.  I enjoyed talking to him.  He leaves in the am in order to get back to Mexico for the Estrellas game on Saturday!!
On another note:  8 - 13 inches snow starting tomorrow early afternoon.  I would start coming in earlier if at all possible.!!  Somebody coming in with 4 wheel drive so we can still go to Hooters like last year?  Sure hope so!!!
I had very enjoyable comversation with Coach Kehres this evening.  UWW team came in late and some sat at my table which was equally enjoyable.  Got a hug from Coach Leipold too.  I had voted for Jeff Schebler for the Gagliardi trophy.  He sat at the table.  It was a fun evening.  Please drive safely!! Can't wait to see everybody!!  :) :)

so true.  My favorite week of football season.  Coach Kehres said that the weather might keep Montgomery away, but I hope not.  I would like to meet him.  You are coming to Stone Station, right?

Most likely.  My son (6) has spent the majority of his life in FL (moved down when he was 1 month old) so I don't know how long he'll last in the cold.  Want him to be able to last the whole game, so don't know how much pre-game activities we'll participate in.
