Quite a bit of the April 27 chat was about the high school career of the DE from Louisa from fans questions and comments to Coach Clark.

Hey, I'm new here and a new Randolph-Macon fan!!  My son will start football there next week.  We are very excited about being part of the ODAC and DIII football.  This board is a great way to learn about both. Thanks.

Welcome to the board, MARKVA65.  Your son's chosen a great school - best of luck to him during his academic and athletic career.  This board will start to heat up as practice and scrimmages begin.

Welcome Mark. I think that you'll find the boards are a lot of fun and a good way to keep up with what's going on in D3 football. And while your focus will obviously be on the ODAC, I would encourage you to browse the other conferences and regions too. There are a lot of very knowledgeable (and opinionated) fans out there.
Best of luck to your son at R-MC (except for the final game of each season, of course  :)).

OLM.......did not expect to find myself on I 81 between Shenandoah and Bridgewater again but I am. Gee, looks just like the Willamette Valley, except for all the brick houses and no volcanoes or pine trees.

.....and then out to Va. Beach right by Wm. & Mary then Christopher Newport. Hey.....I'm a tourist.

Heard a couple people from Concord transferred to the ODAC this year. With the DB from Louisa going to bridgewater and a receiver from James River going to Emory & Henry. Figure both should provide immediate help for their teams.

MARKVA65

Where are the guys from Concord going?

I hear ya!!  It's going to be fun being part of that rivalry!!  It's interesting the way it turned out.  My son's high school coach is a HS grad as well as one of the assistant coaches on Varsity.  I coach 7 & 8th Grade and need some Macon backup  :)

Hey...!!  How about it. Camp is now in its second week; if you count beginning last Wednesday as the 1st week. I had a chance to watch the Waspers over the weekend. I have to tell you that they look good. There have been about 80 freshmen report. Some are the "real deal." Speed and size are the best charateristics to describe them. Hard to tell alot at this point because they were not having full contact. A full inter-squad scrimmage ths weekend will tell more...Averette in 2 weeks will tell even more. Summer conditioning paid off. Most all looked fit. Enthusiasm was evident in practice. The kids were having a good time. I think that this is going to be an interesting year in the ODAC. Right now, I see 4 - 5 teams that could win the ring. And....I think that the Waspers are one of those Teams...! Any other reports from around the conference??

What's the early gossip on Washington & Lee?

I noticed that rosters were posted for Randolph-Macon, Hampden-Sydney, and Bridgewater.
