Anyone know what happened to the Freshman QB that RMC had last year.  I thought that he played a heck of a game against Hampton Sydney. Showed a great arm and lots of accuracy and I was really looking forward to seeing what he could do this year.

Did I see him on the sidelines on crutches or was that another player?  What happened?  Looks like we could really use him now..

Your biggest rival is Hampden-Sydney not Hampton Sydney !!!!!!

I heard the QB you asked about got beat out during Summer practice. Don't know if that is right or wrong.

Looking forward to the Bridgewater vs. HSC game this weekend. Should be a good one. Bridgewater fans tailgating anywhere on campus ? If so, I'd like to stop by to say hello.

tigerfanalso,

Hey there. I haven't been on this in awhile but we are setting up on the patio at the Kirby Field House. I should be there by 9 setting up. Come on by and say hello. I'll probably be the one by the grill. May both teams play well. GO EAGLES!

New job has me working this weekend, so this will be the first BC-HSC game I've missed since 1998. :-\

Hopefully the Eagles can give them a good game!

Good grief. E&H's punter is killing us. W&L's best starting field position is the 20 on the game's kickoff. Not quite sure why we are throwing so much at this point. 15 first downs, 1 TD. Tough to move when your average starting field position is your own 13....

jknezek

W&L with two strong drives. One ends with an interception in the end zone, the other a missed field goal. End of 3rd quarter, W&L is letting E&H hang around 7-0.

Two great games today...

W&L with a last second FG to win, 17-14, and BC outgained HSC, but turned it over twice, in a 28-14 loss.

Congrats to St. Vincent with their win over W&J. That's big for their program, and makes BC's close win over them look better.

Definitely an ugly win for the Generals, but on the road I'll take it. If we can get past R-M next week I'll feel better about having two home games. Going on the road in the ODAC makes a big difference.

HSC escapes with a hardfought win against Bridgewater today.  Both teams played hard and the game could have gone either way.

Bridgewater played a solid game today.  They ran the ball well at times and they had an effective passing attack.  Obviously the difference was in the turnover category.  Especially the fumble before the half.  If Bridgewater plays this well, they will be a dangerous opponent for ODAC teams.

Good luck in the rest of the season Eagles

I would say the same thing about E&H. They played a very good game today against the Generals and were the first opponent all year to keep W&L out of the endzone consistently. While the Generals still put up the yards and the drives, E&H was very good at bending and not breaking. I think they will cause a lot of problems for the rest of the ODAC as R-M and W&L already discovered. I still can't get over their punter. W&L's best starting field position of the day was their own 27 and that came after a fumble recovery. Six W&L drives started within the Generals' 20 yard line.

Ran accross this item over the weekemd.  Inovation has roots in the ODAC.  Emory and Henry is still being talked about.

Sounds like the E&H vs. HSC game will be a real dog fight. I wish I could be there to pull for my Tigers but I will not be able to. Emory is always a tough place to play. Getting out of there with a victory is not going to be easy. Hopefully the Huntingdon game helped prepare the Tigers for this one.

Some really good ODAC games coming up. Should be a very interesting and competitive conference race.

Good luck to all.

We will have our hands full with the Gennies this weekend.  I'd love a little payback for last year's fiasco in LexVegas.  I hope we've righted the wrongs we did against the Waspers.

I suppose I can't be faulted for hoping you haven't righted those wrongs? W&L has gone 1-9 on the road versus R-MC in the last 20 years. Not a great track record, but this team is tough to stop on offense. E&H kept the score down, but the Generals still piled up the yards. I'm thinking if we weren't starting from the 15 on every drive that game wouldn't have caused me a few new grey hairs. That being said, E&H put up the yards on the Generals as well... a very common theme this year. I have a feeling this game will come down to the turnovers. W&L has been winning that war recently after a slow start to the year, so I'm hoping we'll go from 1-9 to 2-9!
