Ranger,

Thanks for correcting me on the jerks at GC (whether they like it or not it's guys like us who protect their right to criticize).   I just talked to my father and he actually said when he was in the S.F. he got grief in NC from some Quakers...didn't realize they were that bad.  I had forgotten how Nixon went against their norm.  Guess we just need to stick together (until Oct 15th anyway).

Army by choice.  HOOOOOAH by the grace of God!!!

Rugby Guy

I'm guessing that W&L and Catholic won't be much of a game.  I'm actually predicting a big W&L win.....34-7

Gosh darn Lama...let me have my little fantasies :). It's a good thing I leave my feelings in the car at BC-GC games

Wish I could be there but I am on the road again spreading DOD cheer.

I gotta see if Skoal really drinks PBR

Just throwing this out there -- if W&L beats Sydney, how about a BC-W&L Battle for the ODAC on Oct. 29th?  Now that would be delicious.... "

I can't let this one slide.. delicious?!?!  DELICIOUS!!!!.. Ok that's by far the most odd description of a game on this threads 10,000 pages!   :D   To be honest I don't think W&L's played anyone with the talent of HSC and will quickly be served a huge slice of Bow Tie Pie when HSC and W&L meet.  Last years game was a fluke on HSC's part due to Riccas  injury.  W&L may be better this year and may finish 3rd in the ODAC but BC and HSC are still a step ahead of the rest of the ODAC!   Keep dreaming W&L!  ::)   Keep wearing those ugly "General" Ties!  ;D

Just started reading Post Patterns.  Really impressed with the posts.  I'm a H-SC fan because my son plays there.  Great game last weekend even though H-SC lost again to Bridgewater.  Glad to see those of you who post to this site and good sports.  Even though we lost to you, appreciate your support on us winning out and hoping to get a playoff bid.  Maybe we'll meet you in the playoffs if both of us get that far.  I'd hate to go 9-1 like we did 2 years ago and not get an opportunity to show the other conferences that there are 2 deserving teams in the ODAC.

Welcome aboard Gunner! Looks like your son is quite an O-lineman at HSC and I'm sure JD appreciates having him there. We as far as BC folk tend to talk alot of smack during game week with each opponent, but truth be known will always root for the ODAC. I for one know that eventually BC will not be on the pedistal it is now but we want to enjoy the ride as long as we can. With the expanded playoff senario this year it gives us all a chance to try and get 2 ODAC teams into the dance for a change. Good luck, take care of business, and post that 9-1 record! ;D

No problem talking smack.  That's what sports is all about.  Support your team anyway you can.  If you can't be on the field playing, then you cheer as loud as you can from the sidelines.  I don't think I see anybody in the conference beating you guys the rest of this year.  Heard your defense wasn't that good but they stepped up this past weekend.  Of course I'll say the same for ours.  Who would have thought the score at halftime would be 9-7 with those two powerful offenses on the field.  If our defense can play as well during the rest of the season as they did against BC, I'll think we will win out.  The next toughest oppenent will probably be Johns Hopkins.  They're making some noise in D3.

Jeremybozz

If only Catholic had beaten McDaniel they would have a 3-1 mark like BC.

good ole catholic decided to not score until the second quarter again

cuaplayer

Interesting end of first half

W and L just had a td called back on offensive P.I from deep inside CUA territory just before the half and then were intercepted by the Cardinals and a good run back to Cardinal territory.

Then a big play by Bublavi to the W and L 4. Then an easy Td catch by Max Perkins on the next play(52 yard drive)

To go into halftime leading 14-3,

but wait a minute W and L returns the kickoff to the CUA 47.

Then a late hit call gives W and L the ball at the CUA 25 with 44 seconds left

Then a catch by Martin ruled out of the back of the end zone.

Then CUA intercepts Twerdy to go into the locker room with a 14-3 lead.

phhhhhhhewwwwwwwww

cuaplayer

wild ending to the 3rd quarter

score is now 24-17 56 seconds left in the 3rd quarter

after a 10 second 70 yd drive by bublavi and ricca

cuaplayer

Generals 4th and goal from their own 1 early in the 4th (10:02)and stuff by cua D

cuaplayer

W and L drives and makes a field goal after a CUA running into the kicker penalty gives them a second chance from 40 yards instead of 45 yards.

D3 kickers can kick like that now?

Should not be allowed to play d3 if you can kick that ;D

Jeremybozz

Gettysburg could win. Maybe the pollsters were correct.

Jeremybozz

All I can say is the pollsters knew what they were talking about a few weeks ago.

cuaplayer

cua shoots themselves in the foot with a 15 yard penalt and has to punt from their own 38...its goes in the endzone...and generals have the ball with under 4 minutes left at their own 20.

Then they fusking drive all the way down to the 3 yd line with 10.6 second left on the clock for what looks like the last play of the game

and they score a td with 5.6 seconds left in the game Martin was wide open
