I lived in Woodbridge, Virginia Beach and Lynchburg... I think I drove through Hampden Sydney but I blinked and missed it...  8-) 8-) 8-) :o Just kidding!

I know you were just kidding, but you weren't too far off the mark either.
In all honesty, though, it's next to impossible to drive through Hampden-Sydney on the way to somewhere else, unless you really, REALLY like taking back roads. Generally speaking, if you drive through you intended to be there.   ;)

I am looking for the comparisons between Farmville and McMinnville.
I may be one of the few people on this board who has actually been to both towns!

You and me. :) But I did not spend much time in Farmville on any of my multiple trips to Hampden-Sydney.
I was born in VA, attended an ODAC school and have a sister in Salem, OR, so that's my "in."  With your involvement in all things DIII, I can only imagine how many towns and colleges you've seen!

To my fellow Wildcat posters:  I'm not going to the dark side in wishing the Tigers well on Saturday (not too much just a little).  Turning the clock back nearly five decades my High School Team Mascot was the Tigers and we were an Oregon High School football powerhouse in that era.  My loyalty has moved on and for the past decades has been all supportive of the Wildcats.  So Tigers save travels to Oregon but not too much luck in beating my Wildcats.  We welcome 'ya all' to the Catdome.
LEAVE NO DOUBT

In the natural world, with a tiger and a wildcat, who would be the predator and who would be the prey?

I've got to ask the question; how is the left coast going to treat HSC ?

I've heard people say something like "every crow is a raven, but not every raven is a crow" so I think in this case it's every tiger is a wildcat, but not every wildcat is a tiger. So what kind of feline is a wildcat? A bobcat, maybe? Still pretty bad to the bone, but I'm a-thinkin' a tiger can beat up on an ol' bobcat.

Predator: Tiger
Prey: Wildcat.

I think the boys will only take a 40 if you're giving them Schlitz, Old English or a Colt 45.  In this area, we would actually prefer bourbon or even the good ol' stuff that comes in a mason jar but y'all don't do that out there do you?  Since y'all are hosting, you DO provide the refreshments, right?
