Gregg Easterbrook is not my favorite columnist, but he does eat up time. He picked up on the UWW-UMHB game and ended his column this way:

"Obscure College Buck-Buck-Brawkkkkkk: In the Division III playoffs, Mary Hardin-Baylor trailed Wisconsin Whitewater 16-12 and faced fourth-and-goal on the Whitewater 3-yard line with 3:32 remaining. That cannot be the field goal unit trotting in! You don't need to know anything else about the game."

Somehow I don't think he'll be getting any ASC Christmas Cards.

I already got dinged on this topic when I expressed my opinion on the ASC boards. I just laugh about it. I use karma primarily to look at who to avoid getting into a conversation with...

Based on my ratings I'm surprised you replied to me.  I guess you guys know I'm harmless!

Eh.... 50/50 doesn't bother me. It's the guys that are big negative. Nothing good comes of it. I broke my own rule over on the "Should the Stagg Move" thread and it just re-emphasized I shouldn't bother. Merry Christmas to you as well. Have a safe and happy holiday and for all those venturing to the Stagg... enjoy the game and travel well. My kids are still a few years away from me making that trip.

I think that might be wishful thinking for E&H. TheScoop is reporting it will be the Hokies offensive line coach, Curt Newsome. E&H class of '82. Bud Foster may go somewhere, but I don't think it will be E&H unless he's willing to take a huge pay cut...

What's the chances Rob Grande gets a look from Averett for their open job? He was a finalist for the Maryville job in 2012 and is probably hunting a job now if Newsome is bringing in his own staff.
