TA had a 42 yd fg hit the left upright in the fourth quarter. Great game. I'd love to see that Harvey kid in the BC colors.

Halfway through the DIII season and the ODAC has the top 3 receivers in the nation in receiving yards per game(Bublavi, Martin, and Smith). Bublavi is also 2nd in catches per game. The ODAC looks to be the top conference in the nation in terms of passing game.

Or perhaps it suggests that those three teams have played soft non-conference schedules :)

Joking aside, I do think that Bublavi and Smith are two of best receivers I've seen.  Haven't seen Martin play yet, but he does have some impressive numbers.  I still stay - even with the low totals - that Awkard is up there.

My vote for best wide receiver combination is Doug Zeis and James Cooper from BC.  Wait, I just flashed back to 87-90.....Sorry!!!!

Joking aside, Catholic has shared Shenandoah and McDaniel as opponents with BC, and has played Augustana while BC played Hanover. Neither team has played a weak non conference schedule.
HSC's opponents are 8-17 so far this year, including BC. Excluding BC from this list, HSC has played teams with a combined record of 5-16. The Tigers might have a weak schedule, but CUA certainly does not.

You're joking right!

I love the poll for this week! BUT....I don't recall seeing a plethera of John Deere hats at Bridgewater games this year...maybe I'm not looking hard enough. ??? I wouldn't say that Bridgewater's "famous" for the JD hat (although that sure would make this gal smile)...not like HSC and their popped collars or W&L and bow ties...

Defensively though;

Alfred gives up 18 ppg (W&L won by 18)
Augustana 14 (CUA +12)
Centre 23 (W&L +3)
Gettysburg 38 (H-SC +16)
Hanover 33 (BC +23)
McDaniel 28 (BC +7, CUA +8)
Sewanee 27 (H-SC +25, W&L lost by 17)
Shenandoah 31 (BC +18, CUA -31)

I've seen at least five.  There is Rat, the whole "Country Krackers" group, and various others.

That's why H-SC and W&L are "winning" the poll :)

It was meant as a "joke" anyway ... I wouldn't take it too seriously.  Probably only a handful of Catholic fans that wear basketball jerseys ... the point is that there are more Bball fans at CUA than there are Fball (for now).  And I believe the R-MC one (Vintage Jerseys) is what it is because they have gotten more "thug" over the past five years.  The JD hat for BC is pretty good because we have tractor parades on main street.  I mean c'mon, monthly tractor parades!!! :)

The "Empty Seats" for E&H is just plain funny.  A reader/poster suggested to me when I was making the poll was to put "Brown Bags" for E&H.  If you're a NFL fan, you'll know what that means. :)

Kid, yes I know it was a "joke" poll..I was simply commenting :)

Geez, you've got stats for everything, huh? I bet your teacher never got after you for "showing your work"!  ::)

Gal,
I think the poll points out which fashions are most memorable from each school... of course in your case how could anyone forget your John Deer supporting self?   ;D
