Good points. Person doing the research ran out of time. Complete report coming soon. Next step is to provide same info for Carolina schools.
There are a lot in NC as well!

Guilford signed Burlington (NC) Williams HS QB Christian Miles today ... he has a very interesting story if you care to watch the video.  Go Quakers!

I have little more information, but know GC signed DB Demetrius Jones from Charlotte Butler HS and MLB C. J. Nash from Charlotte Christian.  Welcome aboard!

Mr. Miles has a great story to tell and I wish him the best at GC.
Hope to see you in Farmville next year week 9 of the season.
I've got a feeling the Tigers are going to be loaded and I'm
certain GC as well. Hopefully the game will reflect same.
I'm a ship out of water this time of year as I have little passion
for college basketball. Can't wait for Fall !!!!

I hope Christian has a great future at GC also.  I'll try to make the trip to Farmville next fall - I've been on campus, but never actually seen a game there.  I'm looking forward to a good 2014 season, but we've got to get that HSC monkey, or should I say Tiger?, off our back!

tigerfanalso

No, you really don't have to get the Tiger Monkey off your back, at least not anytime soon !!!

C'mon tfa, it was 1999 the last time the Quakes got a win over the Tigers!  Define "anytime" soon!  lol

Man, I hope not.  lol  I want to see another Quaker victory over the Tigers while I still have my current eyeglass prescription!  lol

It does make me wonder what is the longest losing streak amongst the ODAC teams? For W&L it would be 18 straight losses to E&H between a 21-14 loss at E&H 09/17/83 and a 22-9 win in Lexington 11/09/2002.

Good question.  I hope W&L keeps that record.  :)  Just to clarify, did E&H or W&L win the the 22-9 game in 2002?  If E&H won, it would be 19 straight - if W&L won, then it is 18.

W&L won in 2002. It took all my fingers and most of my toes, but I did count them right!

Well if E&H holds the record with their streak over W&L, HSC may as well try to break it with their current streak over GC !!!!
We all know that probably will not happen, but what the heck.

Please, if there is a football God, let the Quakers win one again over the Tigers!
