When my son was playing for UMHB, their bus broke down on the way home from Sul Ross in the middle of nowhere.  To pass the time, they started playing touch football in the highway.  When their relief bus got there several hours later they quit playing. They never had to stop the game because not one car passed them on the highway the whole time!!
Anything that you ardently desire, vividly imagine, totally believe and enthusiastically pursue will inevitably come to pass !!!

We don't have highways like that in Virginia. Sounds like they made the best of a bad situation.

Good luck to you tomorrow, gentlemen...it's a giant challenge- I'm sure you don't need me to tell you that.  You've got some stars there.  Put 60 minutes together and who knows...stranger things have definitely happened.

Thanks Wally and good luck vs. Franklin. I hope Wabash puts an ole fashion a$$ kicking on them.
we're looking forward to the challenge in Dover. It can only make us a better team and help us get better for the Wabash game next year.

Good Luck to the Tigers tomorrow!   Throw... throw and throw some more.   Nance and Walker are quite a pair.

Only five pickers in on the Playoff Pick-em so far, so I wanted to drop a quick reminder to our missing regulars to get your picks in before noon tomorrow, not to mention any of the recent visitors who might want to join us. As always, the more the merrier.

To my knowledge, the NCAA does not "hire" bus lines for playoff teams.

Yes and no, right? The NCAA pays for it; not sure who makes the booking.
The schools book all that stuff.

I want to share with all that tonight about 30 to 36 parents and fans met for dinner at Dover Downs. Regardless the score in the game today we are all winners because of the special bonds made thru the years of watching our sons play football.  D3 football and HSC create tremendous relationships - not just between the players.  I might be wrong but I cannot imagine 30 plus parents and fans from a big time D1 program even knowing each other forget getting together the night before a big game.  I hope this is the norm at other D3 programs and not the exception. We are all blessed at HSC to have such meaningful relationships. Win or lose we are all proud of our Tigers.

The "Game" 60 wins and counting...
11/18/2018 Wally referred to me as Chief and admitted "I don't know about that!"

HSCTiger, hopefully you also had some luck if you decided to try the slots at the casino.  Nice to hear that so many are able to get together like that.  Always made it fun when my son was playing for Wesley to hang with the other parents.  Good luck today.  Already a winner with the sun shining, but the air is crisp.  Will be a nice day for a football game.

OUCH!!!!   1st quarter Wesley 35-0

CMR

End of the 1st, now 42-0.  Like I said earlier, not showing up may have been a better option.

Thank you for the verification.  When I looked at the scoreboard I was sure I was reading it wrong.
