I've not ever quite understood the HSC guys demeaning Arruza for the focus on the Game.  Not even sure why you'd think it's more focus than it should be?  Is it because of some stupid clock?  And, why not focus on it?  At 1-4 against RMC over the last five years, maybe you'd like to forget it.  Plus, I'm expecting this year to be a blow out.  But, then again, it's the GAME and anything does and can happen.

I don't see it as demeaning Arruza for focus on "The Game". I said he puts so much emphasis on it that RMC could look past GC. Which any unbiased observer could see as a possibility.  RMC is also 1-4 against GC the last five years. Maybe it's time for a new clock.

HSC is 1-4 over the last five years with 3 conference championships. While your guys are wearing "We beat HSC" t-shirts, our guys are wearing championship rings. I wonder if Pedro would trade any of those 4 wins for a single championship?  i doubt it.

You might get your wish. None of those 4 victories RMC has had over HSC prevented HSC from winning the ODAC. Nothing would give HSC fans more satisfaction than helping any team other than RMC win a championship.

top two goals every season is to #1 beat RMC and #2 win the odac, in that order. I've only enjoyed one of the past five seasons.
Most players from my era very strongly feel the same. Don't beat your rival, hard to declare the season to be successful by any measure. the hell with the rings, pride of beating your rival is much more satisfying. win the odac, go to the playoffs and get the **it kicked out of you, who cares. winning the odac/playoffs does not out weigh beating RMC. never has, never will.

My second choice for college (way back in 1974) was W&L.  They were so offended by my declining their admission's offer it made the decision seem to be the correct one.  How dare anyone do that?!?!  Great school though.

Funny. I got almost the same feeling from Emory University. They waitlisted me originally, but less than 2 days after being informed I was waitlisted they called an offered a spot. When I declined you'd think I had spit on them over the phone. I don't think anyone likes being told "no"...

Those folks in the admissions office get judged in many ways/% of those offered that actually enroll is high up the list of importance and they don't like people like ya'll that turn them down. Thats a bad day in the admissions world.

So far, all games are very competitive today, Real balance in the ODAC.
