I was at VA Tech for the88-89,89-90 seasons.  I know history, was there.  I love chat boards, say one thing, 100 people read it 100 ways.   :)

Since Foster just started his 10th year as coordinator, that puts Clark there a long time ago.....I didn't think he was that old since his daughter is a college student.

what??

It just came across as a personal shot, as factual as it may have been.  You working at Randolph-Macon doesn't help either.

Your "found his place in the world" comment can't be taken any way but negatively.  I wasn't surprised you said it, but once I found out who you are and the position you hold at R-MC, I was shocked you would say that.

For those Boone's Farm fans, I already preordered 78 melon balls and 44 apple blossoms for the Bridgewater game in Lexington for some friends and I. East Lex Grocery on the way into town coming from the North. See you there.

cnu85

I had to slow down and re-read Forma's post. In this part of Virginia, stopping at a place called East Lex Grocery would involve a stabbing, a shooting, and some crack. We have to stick to Food Lion and Harris Teeter.

Eh, it's not that bad Kid, especially when you include the rest of the sentence:
"Yes he is an outstanding coach who has found his place in the world. "

I'd say Clark has found his place too.  Maybe he'll try elsewhere at another division later, but he's shown he can be successful at building a program at this level as a head coach.  Thus, found his place.  Like Bill Gates has found his place, or Pat Coleman or anyone that's built something from scratch.  There's a non-negative interpretation for yah ;)

cnu85

I'm always finding my place, even when I'm trying to get lost. I'm trying to remember if I've ever built anything from scratch like Pat. The only thing I can come up with is I can build some mean jello shooters from scratch!!

Go BC....I want to beat you guys in the playoffs

Thanks Tim. I'm just to lazy to look up the spelling of things for a sports message board. ;)  Gotta give me credit for using the word in the right context though. ;D

Do not underestimate the value of a quality jello shooter. :)
