Picks for this week....also someone walk a young, technology challenged poster through how to get to the pick em lol.  I went to H-SC and graduated before a lot of the technological advancements they have going on campus now, Brown Student Center, etc.  Heck, I also attended W&L for a brief time and toured the place for the first time in 5-6 years and man that place is evolving fast, my freshmen dorm is long gone!  Picks for the week

RMC 17 JHU 21  As a Tiger fan I hate admitting that the Jackets could win this game.....but the Jackets could win this game....
Huntingdon 42 Guilford 31....still iffy about the fact it's at Guilford so may be closer
EH 14 Ferrum 24...Ferrum soars to the top of the ODAC standings....after a weird week one conference game, here's hoping this game is scheduled to be Week 11 next year
Bridgewater 17 Gettysburg 27
HSC 42 AU 28...Love AU as a school I am near by but not an alum of
W&L 35 Dickinson 21....W&L on a road opener with a new coach at the helm?  I like Coach LeRose and the Genies in this one.

Go the main menu for the boards. Look at the listing for General Football. Under it, you will see a label for Child Boards: Pick Ems, etc. Click on that. Scroll down until you see the ODAC Pick Ems board. Click it. Go to the last page. Add your picks!

Or, if you don't want to learn to fish and just want someone to give you a fish, you can click here: http://www.d3boards.com/index.php?topic=8356.615

^^^A good first half by both teams. Hopkins looks to be taking over with 2 TDs early in the 2nd half.

Quote from jk: "RMC at JHU    14 - 28    I still think JHU has more horses, but I expect this will be a pretty good game until the 4th."

A great prediction except for the score. 4th quarter score -- JHU 28, R-MC 0.

Really surprised at the score. This time of year I expect offenses to be behind defenses. That was a lot of points and yards to give up.

From what I've observed the past 3-4;years the Jackets are quite vulnerable on pass defense. If they can pressure the QB that helps, if not a good passing game can move the ball and put up points on them. They got zero pressure on the JH QB who was frequently quick to get rid of the ball. He was also pretty accurate most of the time and a couple of times when he wasn"t their receivers made great catches.

On the plus side  the Jacket offense did reasonably well the first three quarters.

I believe the Guilford has a solid chance for a mild home upset win. I really believe it will be a shootout to the end.  GC likes their new QB a lot. Thinks the o-line should come together nicely and then Bell is back as well.  Def will have to grow up in a hurry ( secondary really fast) in order to compete for a title or even a winning season. I predict a up and down year close to .500 again. Capable of beating anyone or losing to anyone.

"capable of beating anyone or losing to anyone", welcome to the ODAC.
