Just found out HSC is playing Friday night but now at UNE!

Keith mentioned this as a good strategy for schools playing games this weekend where one team is in the path and the other is not. Have fun on the bus.

I just looked at Davidson and Guilford's schedules ... their only open date is Nov. 3 and Guilford's is next week on the 22nd. The Quakers may not play for 3 weeks and only have one game heading into ODAC play and Homecoming on the 29th.

Well, from an experience and preparedness standpoint, those 47 minutes vs. Huntingdon still count. They just aren't in the record book.

Absolutely right, Pat.  I'm just disappointed at the prospect of a season with only 8 official games, especially when we've got a guy actively attacking the school record book.  With that said, Bell could still have 42 (or 43) games in his career after the truncated 2016 redshirt season.

A starting players dad. He was certain enough to have already bought tickets to Boston.

I called athletic department this morning and they said it's on Friday in Maine.

That is going to be a heck of a bus ride. Mind you, I don't think it matters because UNE is in their first real season and isn't very good, but 700+ miles, a good chunk up I95? I'm thinking 14-15 hours including the required stops.

Kudos to H-SC for finding a way to get the game in. That can't be cheap, even if UNE is chipping in since they aren't travelling, and doing this shows a real dedication to their student athletes. This should be a selling point on the recruiting trail, because not all schools would, or could, make this kind of effort.

W&L and Maryville officially postpone their game. Both teams have a bye week 9/22, and the release from W&L says a make up date is likely.

Confirmed HSC is not going to Maine this weekend. I was told they're trying to work something out but have no idea what that is.
