Bridgewater 34, Gettysburg 0 at the half. Jerod Denham's 93 yard TD run is the 2nd longest run from scrimmage in BC history. Rosenthal with an 8 yard INT for TD for the Eagles.

With some interesting matchups coming up Saturday this board seems fairly quiet.  I would think that Bridgewater v Stevenson, HSC v CNU or RMC v AU would be great discussion games

They are interesting.  We'll see if BC is that good or Gettysburg is that bad.  Also, I sort of expect HSC to fall to CNU and we'll see if RMC can bounce back versus Averett or if AU is a contender.  In another game, I will watch the Quakers at Methodist ... GCQ needs a win and this will be MU's first contest since last week's game at Shenandoah was postponed due to Dorian.

Air Raid

I neglected to mention the GC v Methodist and SU vs NCWC games.  Thanks for bringing that up. Both are interesting in that it's the first tilt for a couple of teams.   Can the sophomore qb lead the hornets and how will the Monarchs fare after the excitement of Dorian made them leave last week. Good luck to your Quakers    Should be a great day of football

Just to complete today's schedule, Ferrum is at Greensboro and W&L hosts Sewanee. Greensboro lost 23-8 to Apprentice School and Sewanee lost 47-7 to Southwestern (TX) last week. I guess those results give hope for ODAC wins today.

Well, all four of this afternnon's games are over and all four are ODAC wins.

AU is sticking it to RMC. 20 to 3 with about 3 mins til halftime.

Averett big plays the difference. Returned opening kickoff for a TD and got a 90+ yard pick six. Jackets got a TD with just under one minute left in the second half, missed PAT. Halftime 20-9. Jackets had two drives that stalled in the red zone. Missed one fg and made one.

AU must have collapsed in the forth. Up 27-9 RMC comes back to win 30-27. Good win. HSC leads 14-7 at CNU.

HSC made fewer mistakes than CNU and wins in OT 27-24 without Caleb Smith. Huge win for the Tigers.

Nice comeback for the Jackets!

I can't say what happened in regulation but HSU played better in OT and deserved the result.  I happened to click on the live feed when overtime happened.  They made the plays in the extra time

I suppose it can be called an AU collapse. There was a holding on a long TD run by their QB that would have made it 33-9 after a PAT, which would have put the nail in the R-MC coffin. Then a missed tackle that allowed a Jacket receiver to turn a short gain into a 75 yd TD -- the second of their three 4th quarter scores. The other two 4th quarter TDs were well executed plays with great individual efforts by the players who scored. A nerve racking and exciting finish.

Other than AU's two big plays, the above mentioned kickoff and interception returns, R-MC dominated the game.

Macon

Very similar game to the AU/HSC game, that statistically, RMC dominates and AU depends on the big plays.  Big credit to RMC defense that made several 3 and 1 stops in the 4th period.  Also, congrats to Mr. Frederick for becoming the all-time ODAC running leader!
