RMC dominates in The Game.  WLU limps into the playoffs.  RMC is clearly the best ODAC team at the end of the season.

I think limping might just describe the roster pretty well at this point.  Sigh...

No punter or kicker yesterday due to injuries. Another 2 linemen down. Back up qb who is now starting dinged. Brutal

Maybe, if WLU are the gentlemen that they are, they'll let RMC take their slot and represent the ODAC.   ;D

If RMC was good enough to deserve it, they would have won at home... ;D

And W&L gets a second trip to Alliance. Maybe it will be another gusty monsoon next weekend...

R-MC Guy

W&L won the ODAC on the field and deserves the AQ bid. Nevertheless, it is extremely disappointing that a very good R-MC team does not get to go to the NCAA tournament. We will have to let this disappointment motivate us to do better next year. I know that a quality program like ours will do exactly that.

Hey, guys, it was a joke.  Geez...

So was my response. That's why I used the same smiley face. I've said it before... R-MC played better football down the stretch. W&L's injuries just kept adding up. I don't know what is left in the tank and in the bench... especially headed to Alliance.

Once again, the playoff pairing is not favorable to the ODAC.  While I'm hopeful, I'm not optimistic that WLU will help that perception on Saturday.  For RMC, on to basketball...

Under the playoff capsules one of the questions is: How far can they go? The good folks at d3football.com simply put "No". Now, I'm not sure exactly how English works sometimes, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't answer the question. Or maybe it does and the Generals just shouldn't even board the bus?

Look, I'm not unrealistic here, but there is a limit. Even the MASCAC and ECFC champs at least got something written in that space better than "No".

Yeah I noticed that to, I even PMd Pat to see if it was a typo because typically they put something like "to Alliance and back" if they think a team is outmatched against Mount. "No." Seemed a little weird.

Yeah. It reads like someone trying to make a bit of a snide comment. Regardless of the odds facing the Generals, there was definitely a better way to do that. Or maybe the point was to be a bit obnoxious about it and they thought it was funny. Who knows? The Generals get what they get losing to Shenandoah last weekend, though I'm not sure the pairing would have changed had they won. But that comment, and the one above about "whoever pitches the ball" when the qb has been the same since the R-MC game both seemed like someone just trying to be a bit edgy where they don't need to be.

And a mea culpa from me, W&L did start their third qb of the season in Alliance, poor young man, I hope he isn't scarred too much...

Well done d3football guys and my apologies for the second part above.

W&L releases their schedule. CNU in Lexington to complete the home and home, at Sewanee for the tradition, at Methodist to round out the non-conference. Glad the Builders aren't back on the schedule. I think it's a neat school, super impressive what they do and provide, but I never like seeing them on the schedule. Win or lose, it's no good to you.

Interesting that W&L faces 3 teams from 3 different conferences. I always  like the variety. I have no doubt CNU will be a tough out, and Methodist had a solid abbreviated 2020 and a very good 2021, so that could be fun also. Especially since the teams have not met in over 30 years with W&L winning in their only 2 previous meetings, '89 and '90.
