^^^  Really sorry to hear that.   He came back for a fifth year, too.  Hoping for the best for him.

There was great concern for Kwesi, but I understand that, as of this morning, he is doing much better. I have no idea if/when he might be able to play again, but I think he will make a full recovery.

100% agree. The last few years, I've bragged relentlessly about the broadcast. The guys this year are a step backwards. Thats what you get for using students though; constant revolving door.

Got to invest in it. A lot of schools want these high quality productions, but then when it comes to putting the resources into it, they either can't or refuse to do it.

Jackets have a HUGE conference game Saturday at 1pm at Shenandoah in Winchester. Shenandoah has been impressive and our defense has been less so but we have had two weeks to prepare and hopefully Pedro will have them ready!

SU is 3-0 and has scored a lot of points. But looking at their stats, their opponents have had success offensively in all phases of the game except scoring. Their non-conference competition is probably not as good as RMC's has been. I suspect RMC will be the best team they have faced so far. Sure hope the Jackets are ready to play.

RMC comes back twice to squeak out a 22-21 win at Shenandoah. Jacket defense picked off SU's prolific quarterback Steven Hugney three times. After Hugney completed five of six passes on SU's opening drive and scored the TD on a four yard run, he was 11-28 passing the rest of the game. Good defensive adjustments by RMC to keep Hugney off balance. RMC offense still needing to find itself.

H-SC and Bridgewater have dominant second halves to down Guilford and Ferrum respectively. Kudos to the H-SC defense for keeping Guilford off the scoreboard.

W&L controls the entire sixty minutes and shuts out Averett 35-0.

Very happy to see that the new staff at HSC is putting more emphasis on defense. I hope they can keep it up as the season goes along (and they face tougher opponents).

Big game in Lexington today. The other three home teams (SU, RMC, BC) should prevail, but can the Generals down the Tigers? Will we see any upsets?

I'm taking the upstart Tigers to steal a win in Lexington today!

The Generals defend home field 28-26 over H-SC. The Tigers failed on a 2-pt conversion that would have tied the game at 21. Who knows how it might have played out from there.

The other three home teams (SU, RMC, BC) won -- perhaps more easily than expected.

Lots of guys saw action for RMC in the 63-0 win over Guilford. Mostly non-starters played the entire second half for the Jackets. Eight of RMC's nine touchdowns were rushing, the other was a defensive pick six by freshman DB Collin Farmer. The DJs were spinning sweet music as freshman RB DJ James scored three rushing TDs and senior RB DJ Cone scored one. It was good to see Kwesi Clarke back as the starting RB and get 68 yards on seven carries.

The ODAC is going to be real interesting. R-MC/Shenandoah was a pick-em with the home team winning and so was W&L/H-SC. Could be a year where the home team wins between those four plus Bridgewater. One road win or a key injury may end up being the difference as I see a lot of parity right now.

Guilford, Ferrum and Averett, however, are in for long seasons.

That game was at SU.

Agree that the conference race is up for grabs.

A good game for the Jackets, but I'll never know for sure as I seldom can watch live. Why can't  RMC leave the broadcast 'on demand' like every other college in the country?

Macon

But here's the good news.  I can watch the women's soccer game from yesterday.
