Narch,
You're right we may be 5th of 7 teams, not 8, right now, but look at the only 3 conference teams that we have played HSC, BC, and W&L.  Accourding to most people on the board they are the 3 best teams in the ODAC, and we managed to come away with 1 win out of those 3.

rmcjacketsfan,
From the film I've seen i agree with you the jackets have gotten better, and I believe its going to be a great game tomorrow. Good luck to your boys.  GO QUAKERS!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the support Quaker fans

Oh and narch by the way methodist may have been putting in a new offense, we were putting in a new offense, defense, and special teams.  A whole new offensive back field, only 4 total returning linemen, who of only 3 start, and 3 returing recievers, a defense whose staters last year are playing in new positions, and missing a great linebacker, who would be starting, for the year due to a season ending injury.  If you think a new offense is hard, try getting a whole new coaching staff in march with a lack of time to recruit and to teach an entire team a completely new way of playing.

It seems like we are all wrapped up in this week's rankings, and not this weekend's games.

Let's hope our teams stay focused on the field and let the rankings take care of themselves.

Eagles, you control your own destiny.

GO BC!  Beat the preppies.

Well, they were preppies back in the stone age when I went to BC.  I don't know what you call them now...Lawyers?

guilford fans - let's petition the ncaa and see if they will allow the quackers to play all of the teams that beat them early in the season since they didn't have time to put in the new system with the new coaches, and the new players, and the new schemes, and the new blocking sleds and whatever else they have that is new...i, for one, would love to see the monarchs play an 11th game, but i'd prefer that game to be in the playoffs :) - i also hope that the quackers win out and finish in the top 1/2 of the conference - that way, the monarchs can say they're better than at least one team in the top half of the odac, but right now guilford is in the "bottom portion" of the odac (regardless of how many teams are in the odac), so my initial statement still remains valid and accurate (rather than ignorant, as was stated earlier)...the monarchs can beat teams at the bottom of the odac, i'd like to see how they fared against teams like b'water and hsc who are at the top of the odac - i didn't intend for that statement to be disrespectful toward guilford, because the gcq/mc series is one that has been lopsided toward the quackers until the past few years...it was simply a statement of fact

Llama, Skoal, Kid...whoever.  I won't be there tomorrow, but would greatly appreciate updates (either via calls or text messages).  You each have my number.

I'll be there.  On a prediction note: BC 42    W&L24

i'll be there... heading out here in a few hours. i wonder why people think i'm crazy for driving 10 hours to be home for less than 24... i think i'm more crazy for wanting to be in a profession that works 100+ hours a week

Hey Narch, is being "North Carolina's Top D-3 Football Program" really saying a whole lot ;D

Love to see you guys at Jopson in late November (if you don't choke like you did last year).

narch

miz - it's not saying a lot, but it is saying something, right - the choke has already happened since mc needs help to make the playoffs...although i'm not sure you can classify it as choking when you play without your best rb (who happened to be 14th in the country in rypg at the time) - of course, not sure that mc choked last year, either - cnu was clearly the better team and even IF mc had won at su, they wouldn't have received a bid, so there was really nothing for the monarchs to choke on - but thanks for the sentiment, and i hope mc can make it ANYWHERE after the regular season is over :)

If you are coming all that way you better stop by Stone Station. Just scan the sky off behind the visitor sideline for the BC Football flags, under them you will find some of the best tailgating in D3!

I still haven't decided whether to make the trip to Lexington or not.

Biggest Pros:
1.  BC football
2.  Big game
3.  Nature's beauty
4.  Stone Station

Biggest Cons:
1.  Six hours of driving alone (3 hrs each way)
2.  All my Izod shirts are dirty.
