CHEEKS has had hard week at office.... but will be obnoxiously rooting for the GENERALS tomorrow!!!

Lets get it on!!

And, all of the discussion about Washington being heisman.... he's not even the best in the conference and can name about 10 players who have played for 'water who have been better than him and a number as well from WL who have been better than him...

I'll make sure to tape this post inside his helmet tomorrow. He can take it off and look at it after every score he puts up on the Gennies! ;)

In other news, I will be wearing a tie (not a bow-tie), and will be obscenely obnoxious in the stands.

Forma -- please note my location by the obnoxiously loud "FADE TO CALLAHAM" cries from the stands.

LET'S GO GENERALS!

new field turf?

or the kind with sand that is painted carpet over concrete

That field is Astro Play, a rubber filled product. (I visited it while checking out replacement turf products for our multi-purpose field here at EMU) It should be good stuff.  I do prefer the sand/rubber mix of Field Turf. In any event, this is precisely the kind of situation that proves the superiority of artificial turf ...even though Pakowner declares that mother earth is his preference ;)

BC slows down passing game of W&L and it will be a victory..

And Bc offense open up the playbook:

New ERA,
Sorry I'll have to miss the big game. Would have enjoyed a visit. I am sure BC folks will be amply welcomed with obnoxious signs and moms with cow bells. Apparently Bells are OK at Lexington which suits me just fine. I wonder how some BC cannons or Muzzle Loaders would be recieved ? Gotta run so I'll be back after the game.

New Poll:  How many times does Washington strike the Heisman pose against the Gennies?  0, 1, 2, 38 (one for each first down).

I'm thinking he'll hit pay dirt at least twice.

SkoalTrain just finished loading up.  Too bad for Forma80.  We'll be in Lexington by 8:00 setting up shop at #61 on the campus map.  Should be a good time and a good game.  I know BC is rolling very deep with attendance.  Look out W&L.  Time to get back to studying law to help defend us BC crazies later in life.  Your season is over.

BC 53 W&L 31 (if that)

Llama; Kid; Hug; et al......See you shortly!

Forma80: High Gravity? Not too familiar with that?  Don't you mean 211 Steel Gravity?  Drive safe and sorry about the a**whooping.  Nothing personal.

Peace!  I am the SkoalTrain: EHDad's Red-headed step child.

Two questions for the forum:

Question #1: What is the weather prediction for kickoff tomorrow in Lexington?
Question #2: Is the East Lexington Market still in business?

Bwana:

#1:  Sunny: Kickoff Temp: 55 Degrees
#2:  Yes, and don't call the owner "Buddy, Pal, Cheif, Partner, or Dude."  His name is Jim and he still has the walk-in cooler for beverage of choice.  How do I know this?  I was walking to the check-out line and said "How's it going Buddy!"  He then stated: "I'm not your buddy. The name is Jim."  I then handed him my money and said "Thanks Partner."  Very sensitive so watch out!

That sounds about right...I used to be up and down I-81 quote a bit in the years after I graduated, and I had a similar conversation with Jim about 18 years ago...I don't get down that way much these days and wondered if the place was still up and running.

Without Estelle's being around, East Lex is one of the few landmarks in Lexington I remember that is probably still around...

The future of ODAC QB stats

Take it from someone who has seen him play about 5 times this year - you are so right!!

ODAC fans - I realize BC/W&L is the headliner today, but a lot of other good football games today:

Gotta hope H-SC makes us proud vs Dickinson & the CC.
Hope E&H gets a win this year, but CUA will be tough in DC.  CUA wants to finish strong and has a shot at a .500 season.
GC & RMC should be a shootout.  Just like CUA they both want to finish strong and have shots at a .500 season.

And nothing personal, BC, but I hope W&L plays you really tough.  You've had a great run, but I hope your ODAC streak gets snapped pretty soon ... who will be the first to do it?  lol

That's an interesting question for our forum - what ODAC school will be the first to break BC's winning streak in conference?  It'll happen!

Go Quakers!
