"In regards to this weekend, I'm pretty sure the game will be at Dufour. The field has been worked on, and although there isn't much resemblance of grass on the  middle of the field, it will be dry atleast."

muchacho - How's the parking situation around DuFour?  Is it easy to find a spot without worrying about getting towed and how much time should you allow before the game to make sure you find a space and get inside the stadium?  Thanks

GCOL - Good luck Saturday against the Cardinals.  The Quakers are playing well right now and I appreciate your hard work.

Should be plenty of parking. There's a half a mile of street behind the dufour thats always open for parking. You may have to walk a little though.

Just got news that Lewis wont be playing this weekend.  Gonna be good to see how Highfill does with the first team offense and for an entire game.

The DNR reported today that BC's Lewis has been cleared to play this Saturday.  They also said it's unclear whether Lewis or Highfill will start.

cuaplayer - Thanks a lot.  I don't mind some walking.  I just want to make sure I'm inside before the kickoff.  Good luck to CUA as well.  I hope both teams play without injury.  It should be an entertaining game.  I'm expecting to see over a hundred combined pass attempts!

I know he was in sweats at practice on Tuesday. He may be cleared but it would not suprise me if he does not play Saturday. Yes it was a concussion but he was also knocked out so I would error toward an extra full week to recover.

hasanova,
Unless you are familiar with the area I'd suggest you allow plenty of time. Parking is not as big a problem as finding the place if you aren't familiar. Assuming you are approaching DC from I-66 W Constitution Blvd. I find taking N. Capital all the way to a right turn onto Harewood/Fort Drive which later becomes Taylor Street will put you into the parking lot with a minimum of turns. I can't remember how the exit is labled but it is shortly after "old soldier home" and there is a Bishop ??? High School immediately after you make the turn. DuFour is probably less than a mile down the hill on the left. I imagine Pat or others may have a better route but it works for me since I always seem to miss John F MacCormick Rd. off of Michigan. Have Fun!

My normal CU trip consists of arriving the night before and getting a taxi. RED TOP!!

GC-Q +4. CU has a nasty habit of coming back (from way back) against GC ala 2004.

Army Air Force game will keep me off sports juice but good luck GC.
Never shall I leave a fallen comrade

xbcdad - Thanks.  I'm going to pull CUA up on mapquest, but it's ALWAYS good to get some extra advice from someone who is more familiar with the area.  I've been to DC several times as a tourist, but didn't drive in the CUA area.  The last time I was in DC, I took the subway out of the Foggy Bottom station to almost everywhere I wanted to go.  Thanks again!

abnrgr - Thanks also for your advice.  I'm considering a hotel for Friday.  If anything at all goes wrong on a long Saturday morning drive to DC, I'd be late.   Please don't remind me about CUA's habit of coming back on GC.  At least the Quakers won in 2004.  In 2003, I thought GC had a comfortable 23-8 lead after three quarters and left the house to run some errands.  CUA scored three TDs in the 4th quarter to win 27-23 and the last one came with nine seconds to go!  I couldn't sleep that night.  lol

I like the fact that we will have to QBs who have big game experience going into the playoffs. ;)

Yes, me too.
Me three--does anyone know if Jake has a second degree concussion.  He was out for a while on the field.  That usually means a #2 concussion.  And a whopping headache!    I"m hoping they will both be ready to go by the playoffs!
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!
