Is that BC/CUA score correct?  Has BC really scored 22 points in half a quarter?

Matt Barnhart (kid)

7:54 to go
Guilford beating Emory & Henry 35-6
Rushing TD after an INT for the Quakers.

I believe I caught the announcers saying Chris Barnette caught his 100th pass of the season for the Quakers.

As most games are blowouts now, I'll only post final scores after this.

HSC finishes with a TD run and an INT run back for a TD.

FINAL: HSC 50 RMC 17

J.D. Ricca finishes with 5 TD passes on the day and 42 for the season.

Looks like a final....Thiel lost.  Ferrum's done.  Can't wait to see the selection show tomorrow to find out who's coming to BC. ;)

Where you seeing that Thiel final Rugby?  I'm still seeing 35-35 in OT.

FINAL

Congrats Guilford on .500!

Just got home from the GC/E&H game.  GC won 42-6 as reported earlier.  Vogelbach had four TD's passing and one rushing, so that gives him 37 in the air (old GC record was 26) and two on the ground for the season.   I think I heard the announcer say he had 440 yards passing (?), so that gives him something around 3550 for the year.   I'm not sure of his attempts and completions today, but I know he had two INTs (so I think he had 20 this year).

I also heard Barnette had 14 receptions, so I think he has 101 this season.  Old GC record was 70 from 1970.

Met GCOL today.  Congratulations to the Quakers for finishing strong at 5-5 (4-2).  Nice way to end your senior year, #64!

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

Vogelbach for FOY.
Keisel for COY.
Barnette for 1st Team ODAC.  Rushing deserves consideration too!

One more note, in ten games Vogelbach now has the top 5 passing days in GC history:

582, 440(?), 406, 395, 380

Wow.  Scary game out there for awhile today.  The Catholic offense really came out ready to play.  But in the end BC came out on top again, winning another ODAC game and finishing out another ODAC season undefeated.  Good job Eagles.  I will comment that the entire game the Catholic fans and coaches and players were saying how BC cheats and pays the refs and how BC never gets called for penalties.  Thats funny considering Im pretty sure BC leads the ODAC in penalties.  They did have a few too many personal foul penalties for cursing today though.  Thats gotta stop before the playoffs.  Also, I gotta give a personal shout out to #83 Chris Bagot.  Bagot is a senior this year and had his first touchdown catch of his career today (if im not mistaken).  Chris is one of those kids who never asks for anyhting and gives everything out on the field everyday.  He isnt blessed with great size or speed, but he has a huge heart...one of the nicer guys out there and a class act.  One of the great reasons we have Division III sports is for people like him to live out a dream.  Congrats Chris!!

Home game?

Based on what's happened today, I'm betting BC gets Ferrum at home.  Call it a hunch ...

Good luck in the playoffs BC - carry the ODAC flag well.
