According to the Daily News Record BC has suspended starting LB Roger Waddell who is the Eagles 4th leading tackler.

Jeremybozz

According to the article, Roger left the ODAC trophy presentation early  for the locker room because there was nothing to celebrate. He was upset about an argument Defensive Coach Grant Higgison and Roger's friend DE Jeff Jones had over playing time in which the assistant and Jones had to be separated.
It is too bad. Roger was working his shift at Wal Mart and upon learning of the rematch with W&J he got excited. Ouch.

Coach Clark said BC will change some signals and audible calls. BC faced the same situation in 2003 vs RMC when Robbie Jenkins was on the Jackets staff.

Alfred, who was expected to get an at large playoff bid despite 2 losses, was defeated by the W&L Generals 36-22 in the opener.

its a good thing sunshine didn't know the BC offense too well; that could give them an advantage... ;D
hahahahahahahahahahaha
You two are being MEAN!!    What I wouldn't give to have either of you streaking down the field ready to catch a ball from Jeff or Jake.  That would be awesome!! Your talents are truly missed!!!
Umm, you do know that isn't Marcus Richardson and Andre Jones, right?  :D
...jk
Yes I do know that it is not either one of those, although I'd love to have them catching footballs for us as well.  I just gave Dre a terrific recommendation for a position (more like a life style) he has applied for.

Umm ... I know they are Xxxxxxx and Xxxxx ... I was joking around saying that those two - as good as they were - weren't as good as a Richardson or Jones (again, I was joking).

But I see where you thought I was being literal and not sarcastic. :)

How about some positive Bridgewater linebacker news?  Okay...

Craig Smith will be coming back next year!

Come on kid, why we got to be using real names around here.  Some people like to keep there ananimity.

Craig Smith will be a great leader on the 2006 D. That is good news. Shawn Smith of the BC secondary gets to face W&J after all. He was ready to face W&J last year coming back from injury but they decided for the redshirt and for him to play this year instead. That was the right thing to do and has paid off.

so kid, if you are saying craig is coming back, is it safe to assume that since Jake went through the senior activities saturday that he isnt coming back?

I just read that in the DNR.  I could only guess there would have to be more to this than just getting mad and walking off the field Saturday?  Too bad for this to happen at this point in the kid's senior season.

Chance for somebody else to step up......

Great news about Craig Smith, almost more for the leadership ability he seems to have than for his actual play.

Just a comment on Wadell.  He will definitely be missed on the field in the leadership department, being a senior and someone that has been in the playoffs before.  In terms of the actual game (against W&J), he wouldn't have been on the field much anyway.  Wadell comes out of the game when the defense goes into the nickel package against the pass, which will likely be over 75 percent of the time this week.  So he will be missed in the locker room and with leadership, but wont be missed as much on the field this week.

Well, I heard (from an 'unofficial' source and no one from the Lewis camp -  so keep that in mind) that he is considering coming back.  So I know he hasn't ruled it out.

Also, Robbie Hahn and Robbie Matthews do want to come back (that's obviously much different than they are coming back, but still a start!).

b]D)[/b] losing a big senoir class and recruting is tough at the moment because of the constraints

i don't think he would leave but if you were in this predicament what would you do?

What recruiting restraints exist now that have not existed in the past?

price to come to the school for instance, the RMC we #3 Kahlil Shareef wanted to come to Bc bad (he told me during his recruiting trip) but for financial reasons he had to pick RMC

also, admissions put a limit on football players that would be accepted (so clark couldn't recruit for numbers like he used to)
the theme that ever other team use...if you go to bridgewater you won't play until your a junoir or senoir but if you come here you have a chance to play immediately (Then when the lose to Bc they think to themselves, if i would've went to Bc i'll have a ring by the end of the season)

there's probably a few more that i cannot think of right now

Not sure where the rumor about the limit on accepting football players came from but I can assure you there's no truth to it. BC doesn't put a limit on the number of athletes that can be accepted from any sport (or for that matter any other program). The only limitation would be academic record and our other published criteria for acceptance.

Just wanted to correct that little piece of misinformation in case there are any recruits or recruiters out there reading this...

Good luck to BC vs W&J.  I know these two schools have had some high-scoring and wild finishes in the postseason.  This Quaker and the ODAC are rooting for you.  You've won 8 in row, why not 13?!
