Matt Barnhart (kid)

I demand that the following posters get over to the ODAC Pick 'Em thread on Post Patterns and sign up for the playoff pick 'em I'm running.  It's different from the others (it involves weekly head-to-head competition in a bracket format).  Rules are posted over there, so read up!  I have 13 signed up so far.  Ideally I'd like to have 32 for a nice pretty bracket ... but I'm shooting for at least 24 people.

You know you want to try and beat the computer (Laz) or the "small college expert" (Don Hansen) or the ODAC Pick 'Em winner (Jeremybozz) or the South Region Playoff Watch guru (Llamaguy) or the always-drunk-one (Hug) or the Mid-Atlantic Columnist (patcummings).

At least check it out!  ;D

Okay Kid......but i was a knuckle dragger, just went Bipedal a couple years ago. It sounded like it had too many moving parts. You know like I had to think ;)

Just a question for the BC folks out there.  How much will it cost to get into the playoff game?

Just got a memo from BC it will be: Adults $8 , Students $4

The crappy part though is no re-entry, even at halftime without buying another ticket. >:( Gonna have to Stone Station it up early and often then blow it out after the victory. ;)

Pat Cummings has released his ATR section.  He's predicted BC by two in four OTs ...  lol  and Wesley by 9 over Ferrum.  He also gave some good coverage to J. Vogelbach, K. Ricca and E&H.  Should be an exciting year in the ODAC in 2006, but first .... let's root for BC to win a few more (five?) in '05!

The weather forecast for BC/W&J Saturday is Mostly Sunny with a high of 45 degrees and a low of 29.

Actually it will be about 52 with a low of 30.  You had the mostly sunny correct though.

Jeremybozz

Weather.com said 45/29. WHSV says 50/30. Mostly Sunny is the key part though.

pakownr97

Weatherbug says mostly sunny, high in the mid 40s, except at Stone Station where it will be much warmer.  What a great day for football.

Does anyone (PCole or Kid) know which conference officials will be covering the BC/W&J game?  Just curious.

GO BC!!!

"oldtimer4774,
Was Thiel stunting hard?  Did the disgise their rush schemes well or did they just line up and say we're better than you are and now we're gonna prove it?  I was just questioning how they were able to put on presure with a three man line because BC got burned doing that last year. "

Thiel actually just got pressure from around the ends and occassionally up the middle- I think Thiels D-line averages 200 pounds per player- (no joke) they were too fast for the W&J o-line

religion_major

I remember that W&J's offensive line looked big and slow last year.  I guess Thiel was able to exploit that.  Hopefully BC will be able to use speed to a similar advantage.

I'll try to get it done Tuesday night.  Thanks for putting this together.

Does anyone think that the off-field distractions will play any significance for this weeks game?

I hope there is not a divided locker room picking sides from the incident of suspending BC's linebacker. As some know I think that Higginson is the weak link of the BC defense. We all know football is an intense emotional sport, but I do not think showing a player up in front of his peers or an audience is acceptable. Especially from a coach with little to no credentials, except being a 3rd team long-snapper.

Im just sayin...

when do the all conference picks come out? does everybody stand by their picks after the last games

Jeremybozz

I hope the BC locker room will be focused on W&J. That said, Roger must have the Daily News Record on speed dial.
This distraction and Grant being relegated to the Press Box are not going to affect us I do not think.

bcsportswriter

I dont know how much of a distraction Roger was on the field, but im gonna go out on a limb and say that the off-field distractions that have been caused from this incident are already worse than the on-field ones would have been from keeping him on the team.
