One thing that can be boasted about is that I do believe the ODAC definitly has more spirit and pride in their programs than any of the other conferences. Look at the number of postings on this site compared to the other conferences. Its pretty outstanding. THIS BETTER CARRY INTO THE STANDS AS WELL.

Yes, good point.

I'm only defending my fellow BCers there's a reason why we have pride in our hardwork and we'll still have it in 20 years... no disrespect but drinking at 5:23PM sounds absurd to me, but maybe that's just my hard working spirit popping up. :)   I also find it absurd that someone can come on to a public board where we all discuss past, present and future football related topics and think one is "wise" because he keeps his mouth shut.  ::) We're here to talk a little trash and enjoy D3 football!  I guess you get one of every kind on a public board!

We'll see if the EH-er's are still around during week 8 or 12.. we all know the GC, HSC and BC fans will still be here..

Evidently someone has never heard the song "It's 5:00 Somewhere", I guess tailgatings out to, lord knows I can't have a beverage before 1:00 game time.

Thats definitely not true of BC. Stone Station opens Friday eve prior to Saturday home games and we were having beverage in the parkinglot at the Stagg at 8 am last year. LOL!

There is one comparison that BC'ers do win in the ODAC, that is the Posters to Home Attendance ratio!

BC ------->  20 regular poster / 3000 home attendance
E&H ----->   5-10 regular posters / 7500 home attendance

Ooops check that, Guilford wins,
Guilford ------> ABNRGR the lone poster / 145 home attendance  ;D ;D

The Richmond Times Dispatch put out their football preview today. My guess is that their D-III writer has never seen B.C. play. So I am a little miffed as to why he picked H-SC to win the conference. Even though the coaches picked B.C. to finish 1st, again. Favret is quoted as saying his team "can be a real dangerous team on the national level" and "can play close to Christmas". Wow!

Hey.. don't forget about me. I'm pretty sure i'd be considered a GC poster... even if it is every so often. Speaking of which, Prediction for this week: GC 24 - Ferrum 17.   I see not to many are backing that. Guess we'll see Saturday.

Here's a question. How many South Region teams will go undefeted through the regular season? It is my hope that the ODAC champion goes undefeted into the playoffs.

Home playoff games! That is the big prize people!

Hug, you are indeed wise and well-versed in disciplines other than tailgating :P

Home field is huge.

I tell you what.  By working yesterday and today, I have missed a lot of heating up on the ODAC board.  I just spent the last half hour reading and catching up.  Can't post a reply because I don't remember what I just read.

I can't beleive NCAA Football kicks off on Thursday, Sept. 1st!  Man, what a great feeling.

I see a lot of "this and that" on the board for the past few days.  Predicting football results and games scores is hard before the game is played.  Let's stick to predicting Tailgate attendance and how the food will be and who will win the Texas Hold Em' Tournament.  It's a lot less stressful.

All I know if I'll be in Bridgewater on Friday evening between 4-5 to start cooking and tailgating.  Huggy Bear, Llamaguy, Rugbyguy, PooPaw (My dad who is cooking the Pork/Beef BBQ), Kid, and many others.....Should be a great time!  I'll see you there at the Poker Table.  $100 buy in....
