I noticed in the final team of the week, d3football.com noted that Brad Duesing finished 6th all time in d3 receptions. That is incorrect, and Duesing will have to settle for 7th. I believe Bublavi's career total is now 4,485, which would make him 4th all time.

I'm sure whoever nominated Duesing and wrote that blurp simply didn't scan the country for others who might have surpassed Duesing's total.

It's an understandable oversight.

Congrats to Devon White (GC) on making Team of the week.

He's got a good shot at All-ODAC as well. I'd be willing to bet that no ones picks this year cam at bigger times. Off the top of my head I remember two to perserve wins in the final minute and two in the end zone. He ended with six picks (either tied for or leading the conference) and also will finish in top 3 in pass deflections. Just food for thought.

The post wasn't a knock on whoever nominated Duesing, but merely a post to help give Bublavi the recognition he deserves for his play.

There is reason for optomism for all 2006 ODAC football teams. Most teams got better as the year progressed. Next year lets make sure our teams are ready for the early season out-of-conference games. If we want the ODAC to gain respectability we must take care of business out of conference!

Great article in today's Daily News-Record about some of the seniors that have been in the BC program over the last four years.  I have had the chance to get to know a few of these guys and they really are awesome people.

BC by 2 in four overtimes?  Come on Pat...we will hold them in the fourth overtime(hopefully not for the first time all game) and kick a field goal to win.

BC by 3 in four OT's!!

I agree.  Devon's INTs came at very crucial times.   Congratulations also to DB Adrian Herndon of BC.  The ODAC was well represented on the Team of the Week not only this week, but throughout the 2005 season.

Well, I guess Pat figured W&J would score first in the 4th OT, be forced to go for two and fail, then give up a scrambling BC 2-point pass for the win after the Eagles score.  It could happen!  lol

Well, it might be a little cold in mid-November to be bare in the stands anyway.   :o

Photos for BC,

Are you really going to allow him to marry a girl that would actually sit on the W & J side?

What kind of parents are you?

Just joking, of course!

Eeeeeek! The excitement's too much! Can't wait for an awesome BC football weekend!  ;D

Kid, Llama...what are the Friday night plans? Hopefully something that doesn't involve riding hobby horses, "lifting" tables or a guy named Juan!

"It's the most wonderful tiiiiiiiime of the year. With those footballs a soarin', the BC crowd roarin', Stone Station and beeeeeeeer. It's the most wonderful time of the year!

It's the hap-happiest time of the year. Home game the first round, to the Stagg Bowl we're bound. Stone Station and beeeeeer. It's the hap-happiest time of the yeeeeear!"
;D
(I'll be signing autographs after the game ;))

Not to cut into Stone Station fun Friday night, but we have a chance to see the Bridgewater stars of 2009 Friday night. I think Staunton's Robert E. Lee team is at Turner Ashby for their playoff game @ 7:30 Friday while Harrisonburg hosts Park View from the Loundon County area I believe at the same time, just 4 miles or so down the road...but not sure either of those games can compete with 7-card hold 'em
