That's an interesting question for our forum - what ODAC school will be the first to break BC's winning streak in conference?  It'll happen!

Go Quakers!

Hmmm.  I'll say CUA.  Not necessarily this year, but with Clark back, he's going to get the DC/NOVA area recruits, and I think they already have their QB for the next 3 years.  I don't see GC out-recruiting BC enough on both sides of the ball to do it.  Who knows what HSC will look like post-Ricca.  The one drawback to picking CUA is that BC doesn't play them till the end of the season each year, so everyone else will have their shot first.

Llamaguy

I don't know about winning an ODAC Championship next year for CUA, Guilford, W&L,etc but I do know more pairity will help the conference as a whole. If all the ODAC teams can win their out-of-conference games we will have a much better chance to put two ODAC teams in the playoffs next year. As for BC, they pick-up Ferrum and LaGrange, two South region D3 schools. As long as we take care of our out-of-conference business, one ODAC blemish won't keep us from the playoffs in 2006. But you and I know that Coach Clark will recruit to the way the ODAC is swaying toward. Can you say points of interest will be Defensive ends, DB's, Corners, and the like. Stop the pass in '06 and dare them to run will be the motto. ;)

Any news which BC players made the playoff squad (is 53 the limit?)...and who the Eagles used a lot, but could not dress out for the W&J game?  Maybe this is secret stuff (Sunshine eyes are watching!)...so, maybe we will learn Sat...

cuaplayer,
The only torch being taken by CUA may be the one that was dropped by HSC fans... ya know the "this is our year!!!" torch!  :D ;D  T. Clark is a great coach and I have no doubt he will be on top again... eventually.. in my opinion, CUA has a better chance under Clark then HSC will EVER have with Marty Ball!  ;)

you'll find out the playoff roster saturday around 11
how can lewis return next year? he's a 5th yr senior. yeah he sat out a year but he had already burned his redshirt at w&m
mr. coleman, there's a great article in the DNR about lewis/wakefield/edwards today... might be a neat little thing to put on the front page (kinda like the riccas article).

Here's a BC statistical oddity, for what it's worth:

Opponents have had 42 "Red Zone" opportunities, scoring on 32 of them.

If you take out the 1 for 5 Wash & Lee performance, it 31 of 37.

Many of those came later in games with the result in hand, but that seems pretty high to me...

Thoughts...
Been wrong before.  Will be wrong again.

Here's the link for those that want to check it out.  I didn't know that Edwards had even considered coming to Bridgewater instead of W&J.

My thoughts are that our offense scores 15 more points than our defense gives up a game!  :D

No, but seriously, our defense (in the year's two most important games) gave up only 24 and 13 points to H-SC and W&L, respectively.  Unfortunately our offense and defense haven't played their best game during the same game (we only scored a combined 48 points in those contests).  That's why I hope - 11 games into the season - we will finally have that happen.

Not sure when he took years off or had his redshirt, but everyone (team-wise) seems to think he has the option of coming back.  Just depends on whether all his W&M classes transfer over and if he wants to pay for another year.
