QuoteAs an ex player(last year in 01)who's seen alot of tape and a few games in person I would have to say that out of the guys I've seen play Ricca and Bublavi are the best of the bunch.

That's clear as day, BCS. If you bothered to read before you responded you'd have figured it out.

You may have a better future as a pundit than a journalist. At least pundits don't seem to be bound by facts.

pat, u picked out one sentence, i picked out the other.  that just makes you biased as well as I.  Both sentences had meaning, and i took the first one to have the most.  thats it.

Pat Coleman

Bull.

The first one says you should ask players.

The second one, if you had read it, says he is giving his opinion as an ex-player.

Then again, bcsportswriter, he never said he played against those players either, did he? Why are you taking him to task for something he didn't say?

E&H fans don't forget that Marietta is in the OAC, along with MT. Union. The OAC schools get a lot of good  players from OSU,OU,Kent State and other Division 1 and 1AA schools that could not make it for one reason or another. Marietta has come from 0-10 two years ago to 6-4 last year. E&H will have its hands full this week, but Marietta is BEATABLE if we put it all together. The OAC is slighty ahead of the ODAC with their programs and a win would make a statement that E&H is for real this year and that  the ODAC has more than a couple of good teams,i.e. Bridgewater and HSC. PEACE I am the E&H Dad.

agree with the comment on OAC... the Ohio draw is undeniably an advantage... the rosters from those teams are almost exclusively from Ohio high schools which are arguably among the top in the nation as far as football power states.... the tough aspect is that more football programs are sprouting in VA which dilutes the available talent from schools that largely have a regional draw... could argue that CNU addition took away talent from E&H

eh dad,
Marietta was not 0-10 two years ago, I know 2-8 is not much better, but it wasn't 0-10.  As for the OAC pulling players from from D1 schools, that is not true at all.  You will get an occasional transfer, but it is not very common.  Also, the talent pool for the OAC expands beyond OH.  Alot of the OAC schools pull in numerous players from western PA, which is as good as OH, and from other locations in the surrounding states.  The reason the bulk of the players are from OH is the colleges are all located in OH.  I would be willing to bet most of the players on ODAC rosters are from VA and the surrounding states.  With that said, I wish E&H luck this weekend and hope to see a very good game.  Any insight or predictions?

Pat Coleman

Llama,

I guess I do have a problem with people who don't listen ... or read.
