And let me further say for the record that I sincerely hope that Keith Mc again picks against BC against Wesley...his methods have worked for us so far, why mess with a good thing?  ;)

Enjoy your trip to Dover next week. Lots of good places to eat. BUT watch out if you go to the Downs..It takes more of your money than it gives back!!!LOL.

Actually, Keith is doing 75% after two weeks, but he has gone against both Capital and Bridgwater each week...that is 4 of his 6 misses (versus 18 right)...I agree, Keith, Wesley looks like a sure-bet from here !

D3 Water boy congrats on beating me in the pick em good luck next week.

Skoal, early Dover plans??????

I'm in the process of gathering a "smattering" of SkoalTrainer's to make the trip.  My two brothers, my Dad, my Daughter, and a couple others are looking to roll deep.

I'll keep you posted!  Let's go B.C.!  Rowdy Hoover or Bust!!!!!

Rugby Guy

Just got back to VA (short stop before finishing the last two and a half hours of the trip back to Richmond).  Good game.  Slow going at first, but still exciting.  I was starting to wonder if the refs were going to ever start calling the penalties that were made.  On one hand, they did a GREAT job penalizing BC.  None of the penalties they called against the Eagles were bad calls.  On the OTHER hand, they were GARBAGE when it came to calling penalties on Thiel...until they hammered them with flags in the fourth quarter.  I sure hope the refs in Dover are better than the crew we had today.  It was almost painful...Washington's interception on the halfback pass....fist full of Brian Awkard's jersey in the CB's hand for a good 10 yards.  Incomplete pass at the two going in to score....BLATANT mugging of the receiver.  Bad Bad Bad.  And that's not just coming as a fan of the team getting screwed, because like I said, they sure didn't miss the BC penalties, and I didn't see one they called that was bad.

Anyway...great second half, and I was VERY glad to see the Thiel quarterback get up after being knocked cold by Chucky.  Wow.

Those of us listening to the BC-Thiel game this PM experienced an interruption of the webast feed in the third quarter.  Were it not for the marvelous foresight of The Kid and his chatroom and bigmp and a willingness to keep folks apprised via the chatroom, all of in BC Nation would have been left in the dark.

An alum who voiced concern after the game to BC AD Curt Kendall was told to
"please have people contact him directly".  She suggested sending concerns to Curt (Ckendall@bridgewater.edu) and to Steve Cox, the SID (scox@bridgewater.edu).  Alums might also want to voice concerns to alumni director Ellen Layman (Elayman@bridgewater.edu).

I will note to any who are concerned with giving email addresses that all these addresses are available on the BC website.

My concern is not only for my convenience...Here I was listening to a great ballgame, and the feed goes dead!  My only concern is as a fan and as an alum who attends ballgames when he can and contributes money to the college.  This technical SNAFU also impacts people with stronger current ties-students, players parents, prospective students

Some will say this is just a feed, so what, get over it.  My thought is that the hallmark of excellent organizations is that they strive for excellence, even something as minor as alumni and student outreach via a webcast.

If you are annoyed about this, let them know.  Curt has invited us to voice our concerns...it would be impolite to pass on the opportunity.

.  However, BC has too many weapons and too many ways to beat you.

That's funny, I said the same thing today about TC. I guess everyone looks through their own rose colored glasses.

My glasses were better.

Bwana...

You've gotta understand the nature of the beast.  It's a webcast.  It's not perfection.  My broadcast cut out twice, but I got it back up and running - it happens.

Complaining about it won't do anything - just ask if there can be anything done to keep the stream from cutting.

Regardless, if you can't make it to Wesley, D3football.com/NCAASports.com will be broadcasting the game, hopefully with few interruptions.  I did the Wesley/Ferrum game without a single cut out.

Lest we forget, and before the string runs too long I want us all to remember to thank The Kid and Bigmp.

Why?

The Kid for setting up a chat room capability at Bridgewaterfootball.com, and
bigmp for relaying us game scores straight from his radio after the webfeed went flat.

Thanks Bwana!!  I had someone request me post a chatroom on my web site for those who were listening to the game to chat amongst themselves.  It looks like it was more crucial than intended!

Jeremybozz --> I know you probably didn't know about the chatroom ... but please don't post 12 pages worth of play-by-play on this thread.  Instead, use the chatroom I'll provide for the upcoming BC-Wesley game.  I forgot to post the link on this thread for the BC-Thiel chatroom, but figured most BC fans would know to go to my BC fan site and see the link there.  I won't make that mistake this week.  I'll be sure to post the link for it on here so you can post again in that chat rather than posting it here.  I've heard many-a-complaints from people who go to the games only to come back to 10+ pages they have to scroll through to get to the "post-game" chatter.

Anywho ... more to come later from me on this weekend's game!!!  It was well worth the trip with the team!  I knew once I saw the team do a walk-thru on Friday that they were ready.  Hopefully we know the daunting task that is ahead with Wesley!  But WOOHOO for making it to the Quarters!!!

Alright BC faithful, we need to be out in full force up here in DE.  I am a proud alum from 2000 living in New Castle County Delaware, about 45 minutes north of Dover and we need to see Red and Gold support all day long!!!

From Harrisonburg, you are looking at about 4.5 to 5 hours depending on the speed you drive, just dont catch DC traffic at the wrong time!!!

Also, plenty of places to eat in Dover, as well as the potential to lose your money at Dover Downs and the slots.

I would be interested to see what the "experts" think is going to happen in this regional final on Saturday...

Hey Kid, thanks for the chatroom for those of us out of towners who had the link die on us!!!

I heard Skoal was in there ... how many BC people ended up using the chat?  We talking like four or five?  Or more like 15+?
