That was no spat! I was just just feeling alittle bad karma that day. Pat knows we will have the chicken with the mostest ready for him and all the D3Football.com boys come Saturday. Afterall if it were not for them and the site my phone bill would be out of site calling around to set all this stuff up. ;D

Its all good as D3Football ROCKS! And Christmas morning will be here for us D3'ers in about 33hrs.  ;)

Nick Bublavi was named to the AFCA All American Team. He was the only ODAC player among the 25 D3 players selected.

Then if that's the case, I won't let the afca hold much water.  A lot of good players in the ODAC this year and to have only one make it.....Not much stock from where I sit.  Let's wait until the "real" D3 All American team comes out.  The one from D3football.com.

My prayers go out to former BC President Geisert with the passing of his wife Ellen, his wife of 61 years.
My father was a student when Geisert was inaugurated, I was a student during Geisert's final year and the start of the Stone era.

I would like to congratulate 5 ODAC seniors who overcame adversity to have great seasons - Marcus Washington (battled ankle injury), JD Ricca (came back from thumb surgery) and Nick Bublavi, Bobby Stutz and Jeff Inman (all missed last season due to off-the-field reasons). The beauty of football is it teaches you to get back up when life knocks you down...these 5 are perfect examples of that...5 great players and great young men...congratulation guys.
(I also want to congratulate Skoal, Llama and abnrgr on surviving another season despite the massive amounts of alcohol you ingested...have fun in Salem)

Well...I travel constantly for work (35 flights since September 1st...) and have yet to have one cancel on me.  So naturally, I trucked down to Philly's airport this morning to hop a 525am flight to Charlotte and then connect to Roanoke to have me there by 9am.  Got to Charlotte just fine and the Roanoke flight was cancelled...

And the next one...

And the next one was overbooked (jeez, I wonder why)...

So I sit in the USAirways club getting some prep work done and waiting for (or shall I say hoping for) my 1240 flight to Roanoke...

I would also congratulate BC Junior Winston Young for overcoming the torn meniscus that sidelined him for 3 weeks. He came back with a bang.
When Winston (out for the opener) and Marcus were not able to play much of the 2nd half vs McDaniel (Marcus had 5 1st half TD's) the results were pretty bad.
Hopefully, LB Craig Smith (BC's leading tackler in '04) and RB Robert Matthews (fastest player on the team according to Coach Clark) will be able to return in '06 and thrive.

congrats to everybody making the all-state teams, including ricca and coach clark for their POY and COY accolades.

i told my roommate to look for Stone Station before the game Saturday morning. He's going down w/ Brian Lowe, owner of DVSport, the replay program that will be used during the game. DVSport is based out of Pittsburgh and is used by the ACC, SEC, Big East, and many NFL teams. I gave a little rundown of what they do for replays in the DailyDose on the main page

Ryan is my brother and he's 24. I will still try to stop by the tailgate, but I go on the air at 11 so my time will be limited. We do have plenty of recorded material that should allow me to escape the press box for a while, though.

We'll be there around 8:00 a.m. so feel free!  Should be a great game along with some good fellowship between D3 Football fans.

Travel Safe All!

I'm getting ready to load it up now.  Should be a great time!  I look forward to seeing all the Mt. Union; UW-Whitewater, and D3 Football Faithful.

Finally grades are all in --only 45 minutes late and for me that's about on time!!  4 hours of sleep since Wednesday.  But after a refreshing 2 hour nap this afternoon, it was over the mountain to take my Mom to supper Club where I told all her friends to tune the big show on tomorrow.  I promised to wave lots.  So If the maroon and gold person is standing up and waving a lot tomorrow, I'm waving to the Supper Club crowd in Luray.  Now I've got to finish the brownies and catch a nap.  Lama, I think I'll get there around 9:30.  I'm just not a morning person unless I've been up all night.  But, hey, tailgaters, there will be some 18 pans of delicious brownies to try out (most of which are promised to the guys wearing the purple uniforms tomorrow for after the game and for the plane).  Don't worry there will be penty for all our guests to munch on.  So I had better get to the other 9 right now.  Happy trails and e-brownies to those who are going to watch from warmer and more comfortable venues!!
